the romance aspect aka the plot go the book was so messed up and dragged out it’s laughable. at the end of the book there was presented three mf boys who were in love with magnolia BAHHAHA i was dying. I’m gonna focus now on her and bJ’s relationship because if the book even had a theme it was them.

Let’s be honest if you know toxic relationships and the cheating trope is not your thing just don’t read it. If you’re looking for a solid plot, you won’t find one here. I’m a character development girly and the plot isn’t important to me. I’ve warned you. there were so many highlighted moments and quotes from this like the first book—jessa is truly a poet lol so these are just a few of the many and the only thing i reproach Magnolia is that she was weak whenever Bj was involved and it’s meager in the balance of "who is more to blame" during their current and ex-relationship . im relived the final revelation exploded their lives the way it did. even if i felt the betrayal deep in my bones. Magnolia needed that to trace a definitive point and break the "bj-spell" or more like bury the corpses of what remained of them? I'm actually proper happy she got closure on that. This bomb was dropped so casually i was like WAIT A DAMN MINUTE- TF?! LETS REWIND THAT SHIT. I literally stopped hating her for everything she did and all... The absolute pain, torture and beauty that it was because when I tell you this book put me through so much more than the last book.. I mean that in the best and worst way. Magnolia: idc whatever u all say, she is innocent and deserves to be protected at all cost (except for what he'll she put my baby Tom through, for that she need to die 😗) Some of my favorite moments between them are the ones they have with each other but also: The lost item, the walk and that phone call. the willow tree, the tattoos he has (please look up the fan art for it) 🥺, the nostalgic yet profound conversations they had when they were good, the hotel scene, the part where bj didn’t want to leave and of course towards the end. Idk if I’m missing one but just know when they were good I was good and cherished the happy and even emotional moments.

My babies Henry and bridge continue to be my faves as they want nothing more than for bj and magnolia to get their happy ending and as always are the first ones to call them out on their bs and make them face reality. I love what Bridget did for bj to help him. everyone needs a sister like Bridge in their lives and a bestfriend/brother like Henry as well. I have so many favorite moments with them. Also, taura?! all I’ll say is she’s a real one and I also was surprised to love her with her Pokémon collector self <3 IykykThe whole friend group (found family) mostly (save for a few) were also a mess but I liked the dynamics. Small mention of gus but the little we got of him in this was hilarious as hell to me i absolutely love the bond w her sister bridget. she’s the only sane person in this book, calls everyone out on their bullshit and just slayed.

that heartbreaking ending ugh I cannot get over it. Jessa, you are a cruel woman for that 💔 The last 2%/chapter 81 gutted me. My heart felt completely shattered.
