This book (and hereby also this review) deal with a past rape that is constantly mentioned in the book and that the heroine has to deal with. I never like to actually go into that because I think its important to go into mysteries blind so you're surprised. I love this series of books and I am impatient to discover another new book is ready for me to enjoy. Patricia Gibney draws you into her story with rich details and unspoken questions that leave you desperate to find out the truth. Oh and there's the many times she just stands there shamelessly checking out the flex of his muscles while we suffer through more inner monologue.In the small village of Ragmullin all of the characters, both the ones who are innocently caught up in these murders, and the others who stand out for all the wrong reasons, are interlinked in some way - though it’s difficult not to be in a village of this size.
