Even though it may have been reformulated it’s still a pleasant fragrance with great sillage and longevity. Although it is quite expensive like other CH collection, this one very original design equally nicer but softer as CH usually is, the opening is very nice fruty but masculine as well, the wood notes are weak but later become stronger and stay for hours. They watered it down to the point where you spray it and after two hours it's gone and the sillage, forget about it it's ZERO there's no sillage and projection . I got about 7 hours of longevity and 2-3 hours of good projection with 4 sprays (2 to neck, 1 chest, 1 clothing). Again, this could be that at previous times labeling requirements were different, so I'm just trying to draw conclusions without being 100% sure.

In 2013 I went to Aruba and bought three scents again, DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, Chic and Miracle! Chic has an alcoholic opening for about 5 seconds and then it starts off with a not too bright citrus opening that is quickly accompanied by a sharp pepper. Though daisy won the 1st impression but after few mins it gave me headche where chic was getting better with time.You get the semblance of melon in the opening, not a clean or bright melon, but a sweet-spicy melon-like scent mixed with some inoffensive peppers. To those of you who appreciate light fruity frags with a woody base this is most definitely worth a look. I don't really perceive the heart note of pepper and cinnamon, but it's quite possible that these notes fit in here.

I'm not even going to try and dissect the notes - it's an amalgam of sweet, spiced woods and it works! In fact, no real substitutes discovered yet even though a lot of great muguet materials out there, especially Lyral, is still irreplaceable, perhaps not in terms of scent but in terms of longevity, its effect on the entire blend, fixative properties etc. Alone Chic, we are very similar to the first 212, just a little more pleasant, and I dare say noble .The watermelon, the feature of this scent in my opinion, is not authentic but it's pleasant nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, I love this scent as it is quite reminiscent of Acqua di Gio but with the sweetness turned up to 11! Chic is the perfect name for this frag, it smells sophisticated and is incredibly versatile, I just wish it lasted longer.
