Wow, I was so excited to listen to this book, as I have read all of M C Beaton's Agatha Raisin books, and I have watched all of the Agatha Raisin tv shows! This book had several mysteries to be solved and some personal aspects of Agatha's life were enhanced. This was due to the reduced roles of the usual comic relief provided by Roy Silver and Sir Charles Fraith, both of whom make only small cameo appearances. As she goes through her investigation, looking for clues, she is attacked, but she doesn't give up until she finds out who killed The Admiral.

The plot becomes a little over-complicated, but I enjoyed the book and hope Green continues to add to this delightful series.

In all, it is a promising continuation of the series and I look forward to reading the next installment.
