About this deal

I first viewed this 10 years ago (the year it was filmed) and it's a wonder I haven't outplayed the CD and Video/DVD! I loved the dvd so much, I bought the cd to play in the car and to download onto my phone and Kindle, and the sound through headphones I would say is even better.

The big reunion concert, from a few years ago, of the battling and estranged members of Fleetwood Mac - concert apparently first shown on MTV. This album spawned three singles in the USA: "Landslide", "The Chain", and "Silver Springs" which earned the band three Grammy nominations in 1998, in the categories of " Best Pop Album", " Best Rock Performance by a Group or Duo with Vocal" for "The Chain" and " Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" for "Silver Springs". We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.Even the sort of Romper Room feel of Christine's, I suppose 'pure' Mac, ditties sort of grow on you (like Temporary One) - I'd never heard those either. Enough room for quality audio (multiple options), quality video without the need for excessive compression !

Although the album is predominantly a live greatest hits package, The Dance also features new material written by each of the primary songwriting members of the band (with two from Buckingham) as well as popular album tracks. I've only seen the band live twice, the second time being their 1997 "The Dance" tour (Christine McVie's "swan song. There is a warm, touching overtone as the band members have reunited and worked together to bring us a delicious taste of our 70's memories. Fleetwood Mac: The Dance To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the best selling 'Rumours' album, Fleetwood Mac decided to reform to record an album, embark on a national tour and film an MTV Special appearance. Whether its Stevie Nicks and her haunting voice sounding better than ever, or the meshing of the unique spirits and styles of bandmates, Fleetwood Mac is a phenomenon.Fleetwood Mac is comprised of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks. No need to put the same modest quality video TWICE on one disc, space would have been plenty for sound and less compressed, higher quality video ! The only negative that I have which applies to many concert discs is that I've only seen it available in FULL screen format.

All have had their share of divorce, sex, drugs, and too much rock and roll or, was it the other way around? Apart from the fabulous music (as previous reviewers have noted age has improved the performance) a relational mystery is going on. They stayed on to play on Don't Stop, the first time the band had ever attempted the song with a brass section. This is not a concert to watch and listen to before bed time - not unless you want to stay awake and full of energy for some reason.

Does not appear on the CD, but was released as a B-side of " Silver Springs" and as a standalone digital single. And you have never heard a crowd cheer so much as they do when Stevie and Lindsey hug after Landslide. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac's landmark Rumours album, band members: Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks have reunited for an MTV special, a national tour and a new album. The setlist was similar to that of the album, but with " Over My Head" and "My Little Demon" being replaced by " Oh Daddy", " Second Hand News", " Stand Back", "Farmer's Daughter" (a cover of the Beach Boys song from Surfin' U. Some lovely close ups of Lindsey Buckingham's nimble fingers plucking the strings of his guitar and the sound of Mic.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. But, despite all the trouble the bandmates have shared, they came together for this reunion in 1997 for this spectacular performance. This was again sidelined by the departure or retirement of Christine McVie in early 1998 after their last commitment. on the Billboard 200 with sales of 199,000, The Dance became the fifth best-selling live album of all time in the United States, selling a million copies within eight weeks, spending more than seven months within the top 40, and eventually selling over 6,000,000 copies worldwide. It marked the first performance of the acoustic version of Big Love in the context of a Fleetwood Mac show as well as a similarly acoustic rendering of Buckingham's solo track Go Insane. I found it kind of interesting how much Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham looked at each other during the performance.
