About this deal

So in this we get to know only little on characters but are educated rather about places and objects that are either in or around Hogwarts (or somehow connected) and play a central part in the story. The three eBooks appear to be a mix of previously released Pottermore content and brand new material, all of which is penned by Rowling. I have already reviewed H eroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies as well as Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists if you want to check it out. K. Rowling reveals her inspiration, intricate details of characters’ lives and surprises from the wizarding world.

The Harry Potter books have now sold over 600 million copies worldwide, been translated into 85 languages and made into eight blockbuster films. There is specific information on King's Cross Station and a glimpse into Rowling's thoughts about the subject. The screenplays were published to coincide with each film’s release: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - The Original Screenplay (2016), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - The Original Screenplay (2018) and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore - The Complete Screenplay (2022). This article covers a subject that is part of the real world, and thus should not be taken as a part of the Harry Potter universe.

Eduardo Lima and Miraphora Mina of MinaLima designed the cover, stating that they found the book funny and so they "decided to be cheeky" with its cover, pointing out that the "R" in J.

The Sorting Hat is notorious for refusing to admit it has made a mistake in its sorting of a student. There was hardly any new information and it was just a regurgitation of things we already know about like the chamber of secrets and the marauders map.In this little ebook we at least get the information about the Hufflepuff common room since that was the only one never visited by Harry in the books. It has very few things which might surprise you at some level generally the history of particular being or ceremony or secrets such as the pensieve. I LOVED reading about the Hogwarts Ghosts, the author's inspirations behind them (like Professor Binns who was based on an old professor at her university, who gave every lecture with his eyes closed, rocking backwards and forwards slightly on his toes, completely detached from the students.

Newt Scamander was surely enamored with The Great Lake as it is the home of numerous species of magical creatures. As our investigations currently stand, the longest period that may be relived without the possibility of serious harm to the traveller or to time itself is around five hours. Rowling’s 2008 Harvard Commencement speech was published in 2015 as an illustrated book, Very Good Lives: The Fringe Benefits of Failure and the Importance of Imagination, sold in aid of Lumos and university-wide financial aid at Harvard. It was great fun to see who was almost a Hatstall and the other two characters from the series who were true Hatstalls like Harry. The power and politics book goes into great detail about all of the ministers of magic and the reasoning behind them leaving. I was expecting a bunch of new information about secret rooms and passageways, but the majority of it wasn't even based on Hogwarts as a location - it was all about objects and artefacts that are in the books like the philosopher's stone and the sword of Godric Gryffindor.

I can only imagine the fun he had exploring its shores and depths when he was a student at the great school. The Silkworm followed in 2014, Career of Evil in 2015, Lethal White in 2018, Troubled Blood in 2020 and The Ink Black Heart in 2022. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Covering the anecdotes about Mirror of Erised, pensieve, the philosopher’s stone, the sword of Gryffindor and the chamber of secrets, I wished it had more secrets to be revealed!Aside from its role in The Goblet of Fire, I know little about this location, but have always found it to be a mysterious presence lingering in the background.
