I'm nearing the end of this program and I'm all at once excited for it to be over and sad to be done with it. I can't imagine the other DVDs would contain language that escalates beyond this level (if you follow my drift) as there would be no point in damaging her brand. I spent so much time waiting for Jillian to say Sari’s name that I forgot to develop any sort of working theories about her.

After going through Body Shred, I didn’t find month 1 very challenging but I didn’t let myself get complacent about it. Ideally, you work out six days a week, so you have two days of front, two days of back, and two days of cardio each week, plus a rest day. If this is something you can't build up to because of joint problems or other limitations, this set is likely not for you. If you are a beginner doing this program my one suggestion is: if you are still struggling with a set of workouts when it is time to step up to the next set simply stay where you are a bit longer. I upped the weights where possible and tried to “give more if there’s more” as Jillian likes to say. Please know that I tried to isolate each of them within the workout app then take a screenshot so I could provide you with a photo to accompany their names, but it was too hard, so I gave up — something my workout video friends would never do.So many times I have just said to myself, "if only I could lose this extra weight, I would feel so much better about myself.
