Did the fact that Goyer penned this script solo and it didn’t have Nolan’s loving touch bore me on my first watch? The video colours don't particularly pop off the screen since Zack Snyder for whatever reason decided to make this look really muted and cold. Director Zack Snyder brings his usual bombastic flair but manages to deliver the sort of comic book adaptation fans love to watch and will hopefully serve as the beginning of a new franchise.
