To prevent reactions between treatments and collar materials, collars should be removed during use of liquid flea treatments. I’d also mention that having 10 metres of freedom for my dogs is great, but in truth it's more than I think they would ever need, and the 8-metre version (which is slightly smaller and lighter) would probably have been better for me. The only weakness, if you like, is that the brake is on/off (rathchet type) so when trying to slow a running dog can be a bit jerky. I have a large dog that pulls a lot, and when she was locked on by the roadside, I felt fully in control.

What eventually forced me to need a new one is that the recoil deteriorated meaning the lead would not retract so I had to reel in 10m of lead by hand a few times then roll it up manually. All the stop button works very well and feels extremely strong and works instantly when pressed even if the dogs running at full pace.
