Enigma: The Mystery unmasked by Shanti Boyes a twiterpating five-star read. This is the third book in the Enigma series and it is just as fast paced and thrill filled as the first book. One of the things about this series is how we are shown how Isabella Brahn has been through a lot, and has had to fight for everything she believes in and loves, we are shown that no matter how hard she fights, she can’t always win. This story goes from strength to strength, I can’t wait to read the next story in the series. You can’t help but watch her fight and want to stand alongside her holding her hand and getting the punching bag ready. This second book was better. I found myself not leaving as many bad comments, and it wasn’t overly stupid! Obviously, there’s still stuff to talk about though. This one was a solid 2/5 stars. Publication Order of Standalone Novels

So if you want to read a story that completely changes your life, read not only this one but all of Isaac & Izzy’s books. Isaac will, forever & always, be my number one. He’s everything I needed at the time when I met him and I didn’t even know it, not just him, but Izzy and Hugo and Hunter and everyone else as well. This whole universe changed my life. I loved both characters. Both were strong, independent equally in love. The story is told in both characters perspective alternately and it works beautifully to reveal the depth of love each has for the other. You know both their thoughts and the intensity of their love for each other as they deal with lifes issues that affect them. Usually, I hate when a heroine keeps something from the Hero that you know will only be worse the longer the information is withheld, but in this case, with the storyline, it works because their is a valid reason for it. Isabella Brahn is a woman in conflict, she is having a day from hell having gotten half way through a journey that will change her life, after being forced to fly across the country to start a job she has been eager to sink her teeth into, a fear of flying causes her to be more nervous than normal at an airport and then she has an unexpected meeting with a man who takes her breath away, causing her nerves to do strange things. This series took me a month to read which is crazy for me. It just had a hard time keeping my interest. There were a lot of things I liked about this series, however there were too many repetitive things. Something crazy happens, then they have sex. Something crazy happens and then they have sex. Catch my drift. It was getting kind of monotonous.

Just when Isaac thinks he has everything under control another bombshell is dropped in his lap. We only put a condom in our wallet with the full intention of using it the night we put it in there.” So onto the story. We love Isaac and Isabelle. Well mostly Izzy because Isaac and his need to dominate and be in charge of everything.Isaac and Izzy are not only in a fight for her freedom on murder charges but they are also in for a fight of their life for their relationship. With the evidence against Izzy looking more like planted evidence Regan is now sure she can get Izzy off the murder charges but that will have to wait until it goes to court for the judge to decide. Until he judge makes his ruling there is nothing Isaac and Izzy can do but wait. However with the one single indiscretion Isaac has had since he and Izzy became a couple hanging over his head he is in a mess and everything is worthless to him if he doesn’t have Izzy in his life.

Isabelle is setting of on her first assignment for the FBI. She is nervous and has a fear of flying, she’s making her way through the airport when she literally runs into the most gorgeous man she’s ever seen. He ends up helping her overcome her fears, distracting her and making her feel at ease, she is drawn to him- and they have a connection that’s electric. He intrigues her like no one else ever has before. But when she arrives at her destination she is given a file that will help brief her on her assignment, when she opens it, she sees the sexy face of the man who’d helped on the flight. Isaac is still the best book boyfriend there is and he continues to make me drool over him in book two. Book one left off a little hard to comprehend what happened and book two starts off explaining how Isaac felt which was a nice thing to hear. Isaac protects those he loves and would do anything in the world to prove that. Isaac feels betrayal and that is not something he takes lightly. There were so many things that bugged me about this and the list will be below, read at your own risk. I hung off every single word! Isaac is just so yummy it’s untrue!! This series has by far exceeded my expectations, the author has written a series to be very proud of. Not many authors can keep my attention over so many books by this one has. In fact I could happily read more about Isaac and Izzy and I really do hope that they pop up in any future stories! 5 stars is not enough for this book or any of them. The series as a whole was for me just out of this world. It’s definitely going to be one that I will read over and over again just so I can lose myself in the sexy mysterious world of Mr Isaac Holt – Shandi Boyes thank you for bringing him into my life! Neither Isabella or Isaac are what they seem on the outside, and in the author’s own words ‘Until you have your own legitimate reason not to like someone, you should treat them how you wish to be treated’ I have loved this first book and can’t wait to get my teeth sunk into Isaac #2. The only downfall with this book was the cliff-hanger ending, but that just made me more eager to get onto the next book. The characters were annoying and the writing accentuated this by trying to use language and expressions that didn’t work or were just completely wrong. Plus everyone is constantly groaning and moaning and it’s weird.
