Description

AGPtek HDMI has three audio mode settings—Pass, 2 Channel, and 5.1 Channel. These settings determine the compatible audio format depending on the particular setting chosen. In addition to the HDMI inputs, the HDACC II-4K also includes USB 2.0 input, plus Coaxial and Optical Digital inputs and outputs, as well as an A to D converter for your analog sources. The length of the warranty says a lot about how much the manufacturer values its customers. Go for an Extractor that has a guarantee of mostly one year and above. In case of any issue with the device, you are sure of getting support from the manufacturer.

It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don’t tell us you want to make a return, we don’t know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it. Some of these HDMI Audio Extractors come with a lifetime warranty, so finding a device with a lengthy warranty should not be a problem. Research In general, the audio can be output either in digital (optical/coaxial) or analog (AUX/RCA). The HDMI extractors can output the audio in either or both ways. You have to choose the model based on your device output connectivity. For example, some models deliver analog stereo signal output with RCA or 3.5 mm connections, while others deliver analog 5.1 or 7.1 CH surround audio output. AGPtek HDMI audio extractor supports one HDMI input and output alongside the other two audio outputs—S/PDIF audio port and L/R audio.Note: No USB audio driver required for Mac Computers; Win 10 PCs are now equipped with their own USB Audio Driver. I have a huge collection of HDMI sources (7 devices): 1080P and 4K but only 4 HDMI input on my 4KTV. To make things more complicated I have a high fidelity 1080P device OPPO BD player that is part of my old school stereo audiophile system (Mark Levinson), So I can’t choose any cheap HDMI switch and definitely no interest in Downgrading my sound system to high end big receiver. The Fiio Q7 was released late in 2022 and made a significant splash on the enthusiast audio market; now, it’s a favorite in 2023.It is one of the most striking-sounding DACs of recent years; with so much power, it can even replace your desktop amplifier. The fittingly named Mojo 2 is the long-anticipated, re-engineered replacement to the 2015-released original Mojo, which burst onto the scene as a real benchmark-setting game-changer in the then-fledgling world of portable DACs/headphone amps. And while those familiar withChord’smost affordable product will see from the accompanying image that the aesthetic hasn’t exactly been overhauled for the sequel, significant progress has been made elsewhere to protect its position as the pinnacle ofportable DACs.

This extractor supports Three Audio EDID settings – features 5.1CH, 2CH, and PASS Mode for different configurations. The Optical SPDIF supports incoming 2CH PCM, DTS, 5.1CH Dolby digital, while the RCA L/R supports the incoming 2CH PCM stereo Audio. Due to its broad compatibility, it even connects to TVs (with the ARC function) and the Epson EB-X05 XGA Projector! Experts think it can blend perfectly with PS5 since it works well with PS3 and PS4. NEWCARE 4K Audio Extractor and HDMI Audio Converter Adapter The Rossini’s connectivity is very good too. You have USB in both Type A and B forms along with coax, BNC coax, optical and a pair of AES/EBUs. There are no analogue inputs of course, but there are outputs in both single-ended RCA and Balanced XLR flavours. Of course, any product that sells for as much as the Rossini has to be superbly made – and it is. It supports DTS 5.1, Dolby 5.1, and PCM/LPCM 5.1 using coaxial and optical ports. Also, it supports 2CH PCM audio via AUX output. It supports 3D formats, and video pass-through HDMI output. Its maximum resolution supported is 4K @ 30 Hz (or 1080p @ 60Hz), the max color resolution is a 36-bit deep color, and the max bandwidth supported is 300 MHz/9 Gbps.It is a very old board design that has not changed much from the Emotiva UMC-1 (and the contemporaneous NuForce AVP-18) using the same Cirrus Logic DAC from the early 2010s. Not a bad DAC for HT but not great either. Construction-wise, UMC-1 didn't measure well at all. Amir didn't measure it but someone else here on ASR did (you can search for it) and it didn't do well. MC-700/IOTAVX AVX1 have redone the board a bit (but same chips and processor) so don't know if those measurements still hold. The internal DAC chip on this unit is the well-regarded yet budget-friendly AK4375A, which produces some great clean sound.
