Grace has inherited her late grandad's castle and she feels a glimmer of hope for the future. The castle in the past was her home and held many good memories but was overshadowed by the last conversation with her grandad. Arriving at the castle Grace is dismayed to find it in need of some serious tlc bringing further worries and hurdles for her to overcome. I know that there are many readers out there that adore the Love Heart Lane series, I am definitely one of them. This is book 7 and it keeps getting better and better, I do think this one may be my favourite so far.

The heart cross community are loving characters, each with their own secrets and hardships, who you totally feel yourself taking into your heart. They show you their emotions and allow you to become invested into their lives. More and more with each passing book. It's been great to reallt dig deep with some old friends, in this book, particularly Isla, Drew, Cam and Molly. Getting to see more of who they have become since we last read about them in their own books. The special thing about this book is that it really is a community event Grace coming home and you know your part of that community. Due to how close you've become with the characters involved throughout the series. Learning to label the heart is an important lesson for children as it's a common topic in science throughout primary, secondary and beyond.

I really liked Grace and rejoiced when she was finally able to make the break. Things definitely don’t run smoothly though as the home she once knew is now crumbling and in dire need of repair and money. It was really heartwarming to read just how loved and missed Grace was and that her friends don’t hesitate to help her which just shows the wonderful community for what is really is – a family. The castle itself and indeed Scotland sound absolutely wonderful and are described in such lovely vivid detail by the author that you can picture if clearly as you are reading.Thank you to Netgalley for a pre publication copy.
