If you're using high doses of beclometasone, or you're using it alongside other steroid medicines or tablets for HIV, you may get underactive adrenal glands. Your doctor may recommend that you carry a red steroid emergency card. This card is the size of a credit card and fits in your wallet or purse. Following intranasal administration of BDP in healthy males, the systemic absorption was assessed by measuring the plasma concentrations of its active metabolite B-17-MP, for which the absolute bioavailability following intranasal administration is 44% (95% CI 28%, 70%). 7. Pregnancy and breastfeeding

It may take several days before your symptoms improve. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse. To use the spray, first remove the safety clip and plastic cap. Close one nostril by pressing it with your finger. Tilt your head slightly forward and, keeping the bottle upright, carefully insert the nasal applicator into the other nostril. Press down firmly on the pump to deliver the prescribed number of sprays. Do not spray directly onto the middle wall of your nose ( nasal septum). Breathe in gently through your nose and out through your mouth. Repeat in the other nostril. Wipe the applicator tip and replace the plastic cap and safety clip. Avoid blowing your nose for 15 minutes after using this medication. If you bought beclomethasone nasal spray, once your symptoms are under control, you can use your nasal spray less often. For example, you might go from using 2 sprays twice a day, to 1 spray twice a day. Beclometasone (also called "beclomethasone") is a type of medicine known as a steroid (or corticosteroid). 5. Side effects of mometasone nasal spray

Beconase AQ can affect growth in children. Talk with your doctor if you think your child is not growing at a normal rate while using Beconase AQ. Mast cells have been shown to migrate to the nasal epithelium during the pollen season, which is predominantly exposed to pollen. This indicates that only the areas that are reached by Becodefence fine spray need to be covered, as the inhaled pollen will basically reach out to the same areas. Benzalkonium chloride may cause irritation or swelling inside the nose, especially if used for a long period of time. The use of beclometasone dipropionate should be avoided during pregnancy unless thought essential by the doctor. Systemic effects of nasal corticosteroids may occur particularly when used at high doses for prolonged periods.
