The pods are compatible with the A3. These are not compatible with other previous Caliburn pods unfortunately. This Uwell Caliburn AK2 KIT is made of Aluminum and Plastic and is sure to turn heads. the Caliburn Koko AK2 has an airflow entrance and a lanyard hole at the top of the same side. The lanyard is considerably simpler, composed of a dark grey elastic silicone material that is comfy. A USB C-Port for charging and battery vents are located on the bottom of the device. I know this sounds super lazy but I will refer you to the review of the Caliburn A2 for the pod performance. This kit uses a USB Type C cable for charging – sadly one is not included in the kit so you will have to source your own! As part of Uwell’s “A” series devices, the AK2 is meant to be very easy to use. For those who are unfamiliar, Uwell has split their caliburn devices into two series: A and G. The A series uses pods with built-in coils, while the G series uses removable and replaceable coils. This makes the A series devices more suited to beginner vapers and those who want a device that is easy to use and vape with.The sides of the pod are totally clear with a “minimum” level disguised really well! It is there but it takes a lot of tilting and aligning with the right light to actually see it. Plus you can take a few dummy vapes on the pod before you insert it into the mod to help the e-liquid flow through. This is exactly the same as I used in the Caliburn A2 and it is a huge improvement on the original Caliburn pod.

The pod sits in there well, sometimes there is some slight side to side movement and also if you don’t replace the mouthpiece fully this can sit proud of the mod. Battery indicator = this changes colour according to the battery charge remaining whilst vaping – Green LED = over 60% charge, Blue LED = 30-60% and Red LED = less than 30%. Note that if on the “animated LED” setting after vaping it will show battery charge colour and then cycle through other colours.A major difference is the curved side which also houses the LED display. This is very cute and the LED lights up a cut out in the shape of the “Caliburn” text. It is completely hidden when not lit up! This looks extremely similar to the A2 pod but is slightly thinner, meaning the A2 pod is too large to use in this kit.
