However, don't let that fool you into thinking that the iPhone 12 Pro battery life is excellent – it's not. That said, we're not entirely convinced that HDR is really needed on a phone – some of the non-HDR Netflix content we watched looked brilliant, but some of the movies on iTunes (which are automatically upgraded to HDR for free) looked a little too dark in parts.
