The new immersive pop-up is not quite like Universal Studios Singapore’s Stranger Things-themed Halloween Horror Nights haunted house from five years ago. For starters, there are no jump scares so you can explore the nostalgia-filled iconic locations from the hit Netflix series with a peace of mind.

The spot will include an exhibit filled with some of the show’s most iconic set pieces, including the Starcourt Mall from Season 3’s final battle sequence, along with exclusive merchandise. Greg Lombardo, head of live experiences at Netflix, said it “makes perfect sense” for the streaming service to bring one of its most successful shows to “such an incredible entertainment hub” like Las Vegas. “[ Stranger Things] has such a global fan base … [and] Vegas is where the world comes,” he said.

Embark on an explosive 3D journey through the world of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things with the only officially licensed Stranger Things pop-up book. Some Easter eggs: Hellfire Club gear was front and center, and since they figure prominently in the first episode of the season, a Netflix representative confirms that the group members have a high profile role in season four. Also, a collab between Netflix and iam8bit led to Ecuadorian artist Chogrin creating a vinyl sculptural piece on display named “Elegorgon. This Elegorgon piece offers the answer to the question: “what would a half Eggo-eatin’ tween, half teeth demogorgon look like?”Mighty Jaxx designed all the merchandise, having partnered with Singaporean brands to curate a selection of products that fuse Stranger Things imagery with Singapore’s skyline and landmarks. Take pics in the Byers’ living room, in an 80s-style photo booth, at the Palace Arcade, or with a Demogorgon Browse through a wide array of exclusive merchandise only available at the store and integrated into each location Vecna and his army of monsters from the Upside Down are headed to Las Vegas, and they’ll be here for a while. Netflix will launch Stranger Things: The Official Store at the Showcase Mall on the Strip on May 26, open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Duration: 1-hour immersive experience, but you are welcome to stay and hang in the Mix-Tape as long as you’d like!

At the main venue at Level 7 of Bugis+, there are six rooms re-created from the series, and the atmosphere is mystifying, thanks to a slew of special effects, lights and the set design. Whether it was at game night in Hellfire Club, snooping around Joyce’s living room, or coming face-to-face with the terrifying Vecna in the Creel house, we were constantly on our toes - it felt as if we were part of Eleven and her crew.
