When the octopuses were gently nudged aside, no embryos were seen developing in the egg sacs. On a return trip in December 2014, scientists observed octopuses at the same location with undeveloped eggs. Were these female octopuses laying their brood in a hostile environment for egg development?

The Dorado Outcrop is one of Costa Rica’s “Off-Axis” seamounts on the complex Cocos Plate. It is part of a group of seamounts formed on the East Pacific Rise, as compared to more southerly seamounts offshore Costa Rica that were formed from the Cocos-Nazca Spreading Center. Several of the southern seamounts near Cocos Island National Park and the spreading Nazca spreading center are partially protected within the Montes Submarinos Marine Management Area. However, the Dorado Outcrop and its surrounding seamounts sit outside the national park and away from the axis of the spreading centers, making them “off-axis.” The volcanic activity that fuels hydrothermal vents diminishes as seamounts are pushed further away from the spreading center, rendering them inactive.This clue is right along the beach just to the west of the Odyssey, about halfway to the Beach House. You’ll have to jump up onto a ledge to get close to it. It’s not as obvious as some of the other clues you’ve gotten in other kingdoms, but you might recognize it as some of the street directions in the Metro Kingdom. Head there, then go to the Main Street Entrance flag. Just north of there, right past the Scooter, you’ll see the word “KEEP” painted on the road. Ground pound above and between the two Es (just like in the Hint Art) to find your moon. 51. Seaside Kingdom Regular Cup Nintendo Warp to either Ocean Trench East or Hot Spring Island, and head toward the icon that looks like a trophy. Super Mario Odyssey’s warp paintings are incredibly confusing. They seem to change from game to game in a way that, thus far, we can’t explain. (In fact, we’re perfectly open to the possibility that at least some of them are random, which would explain our consternation.) So we’re going to do two things here: show you how we found this secret path, and show you a gallery of all warp painting locations in the game. From the Odyssey, swim to the nearby fountain. Jump in, and you’ll get blasted up to where Princess Peach is standing. Capture a Pokio (the bird-like creature with the pointy beak from Bowser’s Kingdom). Grab the Uproot provided, and start climbing up the cliff. As you start climbing, the lava will start to rise, making this a timed challenge. Dodge the Moonsnakes as you go, then watch for the area at the peak with two narrow pathways. Hop to the path on the right to find moon 48, then continue along just a little further to find moon 47 and the exit. 49. Secret Path to BubblaineWhen you first arrive in the Seaside Kingdom, you’ll see a list of 52 power moons in your menu. Weirdly, you can’t collect them all yet. Also, there are more than 52 moons here. Here’s how it works: We only despatch parcels on a Monday – Friday. Royal Mail do not make collections from us on Bank Holidays or Weekends. Running is the best way to aim Cappy. Running around the court to hit the ball won’t be an option when the serves get faster, so don’t bother becoming an expert at that. Instead, concentrate on anticipating where the ball will land and running toward it, throwing Cappy just as it’s about to land. Use the first phase of the minigame when the ball travels slowly to hone your craft.
