Well, I finished the Tantra Book. I guess I don't have much to say about it. It was great to learn the theologic philosophy on Tantra. Although I think Chris Wallis's grasp on philosophy in general is weak. I am sure he is a great sanskritist though. He did bring up a lot of various concepts in Tantra that were fascinating. I enjoyed the idea that everything is all God or Brahma. Then the philosophy that spawns from that first principle gets really interesting. It was really interesting to think about mantras as living beings and not just sound waves. I like playing around with these kinds of ideas and their implications, even if I disagree with them. A karmic action is a morally charged action motivated by a desire to attain or avoid a particular result. When we learn to perform actions as service or sacrifice, investing in the process but letting go of our attachment to the final outcome, those actions have no karmic charge and therefore do not bind us, whatever the result may be." Mind and heart(emotion and tought) are 2 different names for one and the same thing. They merely enphasize some aspects of that entity. Therefore sometimes subconscious emotions manifest as thoughts and subconscious thoughts manifest as emotions Maya. In tantric is the The world source, the divines power to project itself into manifestation. Deludes is into seing duality where there is only unity. But does not have a negative characteristic in tantra.
