About this deal

Follow the instructions and apply the liner directly to a surface pre-coated with Thermal Liner Adhesive. With rising energy costs the vast majority of us are looking for ways to save money: KV600 offers a cost effective, practical way to save energy in your home as well as helping to create a cosier environment. It has been approved by the Energy Saving Trust because of its thermal efficiency and energy saving properties.

A word of caution – avoid putting ceramic tiles over the thermal liner. If you want to do this, use Professional Insulation Panels instead. Plenty of options to choose from, including liners, wallpapers or panels This is an important consideration, as it means that the thermal liner won't trap moisture in the walls, and prevents the fear of potential damp and mold problems.

It is best suited to those pesky external walls that always seem to lose heat. However, keep in mind that it is not recommended to be used in fire escape routes from inside the home unless the surface is treated with a fire-retardant covering. Erfurt Mav Graphite Plus Insulating Lining Paper

Loud traffic, noisy neighbours and general city living can all take their toll on our wellbeing and mental health. Thankfully, there's an easy way to combat these intrusive sounds – by using thermal wallpaper.

Does Thermal Liner increase the energy efficiency of walls?

Here we take a closer look at their plus and minus points. What are the benefits of insulating wallpaper? For each roll, you'll need between 7.5 and 10 kgs of adhesive, depending on how absorbent the surface is. From my own personal experience of using insulating lining paper there is a noticeable difference between a wall with just standard wallpaper and insulating wallpaper. Thermal insulating wallpaper is a cost-effective way of keeping your home warm. Don't keep reaching for that central heating dial and instead invest in a smarter and more environmentally friendly way to keep heat inside for years to come.

The efficiency measurement of an actual material is called the Lambda. The higher the Lambda rating the more efficient it is and as a result will require less energy or heat to feel warm an cosy. This rating is measures in Watts / Meter x Kelvin. We all want to stay nice and cosy in our homes. But when the winter nights come in, and it's time to settle down on the sofa, we often have to resign ourselves to our central heating or fireplace to keep warm.

What is Thermal Liner?

As a final tip – if you are going round the corners of rooms with the thermal liner, I suggest cutting it as per the diagram below.
