Description

Connect the Ethernet cable between the Internet port on the phone and an available port on the in-line power router or switch.

The Yealink W60B DECT IP base station supports efficient provisioning and effortless mass deployment with Yealink’s Redirection and Provisioning Service (RPS) and Boot mechanism to help you realize the Zero Touch Provisioning without any complex manual settings, which makes it simple to deploy, easy to maintain and upgrade, saving even more time and IT costs for businesses. Whats in the Box? Video tutorial explaining Auto Provisioning setup for Yealink Phone on PBXware 5. ¶ Requirements ¶ Identifying phone model The SBC (raspberry PI 4) shows a green light in 3CX Management Console SIP Trunk area and appears to have had no issues in the install phase and is UP. Say you have an incoming call that you've answered, and you want to transfer it to someone else and introdice the caller as you go... NOTE: Do not unplug or remove power to the phone while it is updating firmware and configurations. ¶ Registering phonei discovered this by using cd /var and cd log and then ls to show the directory contents and then one more cd /3cxsbc It seems by having the SBC we have simply just shifted the network admin from GCP to the Office Cisco router, which is more complex and more problematic and expensive to troubleshoot. Designed in modern and elegant style, this compact DECT IP base station possesses a wire-hidden design, presenting a concise and tidy desk to you even being mounted to the wall. By supporting Opus codec, Yealink W60B consistently delivers excellent and profes- sional audio quality in both high-bandwidth and poor network conditions, comparing with other wideband or narrowband audio codecs.

Outgoing connections from our LAN firewall should just connect and reach the PBX in GCP no problem. The phone provisions successfully over 5001 once we forwarded that port to the SBC. So what am I missing? Surely the outgoing connections and ports like 5090 should just work. I think, therefore, that this "failure" does not matter, but I would be interested to know if this is a correct assumption as it also potentially points to a problem of some kind that could affect the W60 from being unable to register even though the phones in the office work fine.

Can you tell me if the ports in the PBX GCP Firewall all have to be open for remote handsets if the SBC is in the office? yes/no

Using a regular ethernet cable, your phone can be powered from a Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant router or switch. I think you should start from scratch and take it one step at a time if you want to do it yourself, and I'm confident that you can but: In most cases if businesses change their equipment or move their service to a new provider it will initiate a change however if a business simply ceases (BT’s risk) or the kit is stolen there may be an issue (customers risk). BT owned equipment should be returned and yes BT really should clearly label their kit and their process however they should also ensure that equipment cannot simply be acquired and used on a customers account.

Yealink W60B DECT IP Base Station

Only once the above is done should you then pair the handsets with the base, not before. And I can promise you that it will begin to work like a charm (having set one up myself yesterday behind a corporate firewall and on an SBC on the same network as the W60B base). The Yealink W60P Wireless DECT IP Phone is a premium phone designed with robust hardware, ideal for businesses that require greater capability to handle a heavy call load.

Management Cloud Platform – Yealink Cloud Management Service (YCMS) is revolutionising the way installers deploy their Yealink devices, while increasing the speed at which the devices are provisioned. YMCS is a cloud-based platform, hosted by Yealink and features similar functionality and aesthetics to the YDMP (on premise platform). At its core, the YCMS is designed to provide installers with one simple tool to deploy, manage and monitor multiple Yealink devices. In addition to simplifying and speeding up provisioning, the YMCS uses a powerful dashboard which shows a graphical overview of various factors impacting call quality. Streamline your provisioning with Yealink Cloud management services. I would be most grateful for your help as I have no way to diagnose where it's going wrong and have spent hours on this problem. I can't tell if the issue of registering is happening at the LAN side or the PBX side, and there seems to be no definitive document from 3CX to say what ports where must be open for the SBC on a LAN behind a firewall to work with remote phones. This chapter describes how to install and connect the phone to the electrical power and data network as well as how to apply factory settings.
