About this deal

Within this colossal box, you'll discover a total of 72 brand-new miniatures, divided between the Space Marines and the Tyranids. Among them, the Emperor's Angels of Death are magnificently represented by an unstoppable Captain adorned in formidable Terminator Armor, a Librarian also clad in Terminator Armor, a Primaris Lieutenant donning Phobos Armor, a skilled Apothecary Biologis, five towering Terminators, five Sternguard warriors, a precision-focused Ballistus Dreadnought, and a group of 10 Infernus Marines wielding powerful pyreblasters. One thing to keep in mind, this will all be ETB (not a bad thing, just something to think about), and it might be a while before we see all the releases separately.

Gone are the slightly soft, retro aesthetic of the old Termagants. In their place are a devilish deluge of teeth, claws and other spikey bits. What’s more, with every Termagant being around 4 components a piece, these things go together with exceptional speed and ease. They also retain a great deal of detail, so there has been no sacrifice in quality for quantity. As you can see, he looks almost identical to the video, so it should be a good indication of the rest of the models. Space Marines: Genetically engineered supersoldiers clad in inviolable armour and equipped with the finest wargear in the Imperium – the Space Marines are the Emperor’s Angels of Death.Rather like the Ballistus Dreadnought, the Psychophage has been given a rough time by the Internet since it was first accounced. Within moments of it first appearing on Warhammer Fest livestreams, comparisons were drawn between it and the Chaos Space Marine Venomcrawler. I mean… yeah…

The onyl criticism I had of these minis was I struggled to line up one or two of their longer forelimbs. Everything else slots together with a great deal of ease, but I had a couple of arms that didn’t really want to sit where they were intended to. Termagants The Tyranids have descended upon the world of Oghram and it’s up to you as a buyer of the Leviathan box to save it – or destroy it. The stat lines for each figure and unit are also included in the construction guide. The guide first takes you through the new Space Marines before providing you with their statistics, then moves on to the Tyranid builds and finally finishes off with their stats too. Renowned for their unerring proficiency with bolt weapons, Sternguard Veterans are fearsome combatants drawn from their Chapter’s 1st Company and issued with special ammunition designed to combat the Tyranid threat. Terminator SquadAs the final big model for Tyranids in the box, this might be the flashiest! With some insane detail and a giant body, this will always be a sight to behold on the tabletop. If you want early access to the rulebook (at least the printed version) and the new minis, this is the only way to do it, at least at first. So it does have some intrinsic value. I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of Tyranids, and the Tyranid Prime isn’t one of the models in the set that gets me excited for the biomass-devouring aliens.
