About this deal

Yes,there is a but here.a huge but...but drydown which doesn't force me wait for a long time,is something I happen to love now!it smells heavenly and I find it one of the most artistically done patchouli scents I have ever had pleasure of smelling White Patchouli is without a doubt one of the best Patchouli fragrances that I have encountered on the market. It smells Rich, Bold, Sexy and quite unisex to my nose. Some people say it smells very feminine, but I think that its bold enough to be worn by both Men and Women. There is that menthol patchouli note but it doesn’t overwhelm the other players. He seems to keep the others grounded. I was registered with Parfumo. It was so interesting here that I scrolled from fragrance to fragrance, let myself in, lost sight of White Patchouli and first wrote about my existing fragrances comments. And I'm not sure about it... The patch isn't HUGE or hippie/sweaty it's just spicy. This is very masculine IMO. Or else it's def a NIGHT scent on the right woman-- either a cute hippie girl or a very powerful, sexy confident business woman... lol. (I'm never THAT serious when I say who should wear a perfume. Anyone and everyone should wear exactly what they enjoy!)

Beautiful Ms. Rose flits about. I think she is the hostess along with her handsome lover, Mr. Patch. But this couple enjoys their guests and they do their best to make them all shine at this beautiful gala. I usually love the fragrances that stand between the edge of modern and classic but here I don't see these paradoxes good,it feels like it's cheating her personality,I also can't get the point why WHITE patouli,on me it's more of a brown patchouliAfter a couple hours White Patchouli looses the strange ointment edge from coriander, and a non-indolic jasmine with "golden" rose step forward, becoming a quite beautiful, rather unisex floral as it is balanced with the rich patchouli/sandalwood base and a sweet note that reminds me to hop (the herb it is used to aromatize beer). It has a remarkable tenacity but on the other hand, stays quite close to the skin. I posted a question about patchouli fragrances in the consulting thread relatively soon, tested some of the recommendations there and found the great Taklamakan. Since White Patchouli, probably by chance, was not recommended to me, he was still out of my mind. In fact, it's really quite nice and better than some of the other fragrances I have tried, lately - but, because of the dominant notes (which are not really my favourites), probably not something I would bother buying. Just make sure to not overspray, give it enough time to settle down and don't wear it in hot summer days You agree to indemnify and hold Space NK (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, employees and third-party service providers, including but not limited to Bazaarvoice, Inc.), harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Then add the fact that I swoon over Coromandel (=very prominent, sharp patchouli) and then, somebody reviewed it as clean, sexy, very Prada like - a once upon a time staple in my collection (Prada Amber: patchouli & amber based). I think one of the main reasons I love this fragrance is the fact that it is just blended so well, the notes are not competing for my attention, they've just closed into one another and formed a very strong and well put together scent. There are moments where the Patchouli shouts out for attention, but its quite tame and almost muted in this fragrance. Its not in your face and its not obnoxious in the way it is with fragrances like Angel and Tom Ford's Purple Patchouli (which irritates the life out of me).I'm not getting a great deal of creamy, powdery, floral, spicy or sweet notes, it just smells botanic and fresh. This has a strong, polarizing opening where the dank, dark patch really takes the center stage and makes the fragrance feel weirdly musty and harsh. But that's not really what this perfume is all about. With the richest, smoothest, creamiest, most intense fragrances coming from white flowers; not highly coloured ones. I tested at the same time as 2 other patch heavy scents so perhaps because I loved them so much it made me perceive this as inferior. And it isn't bad at all, I just don't like it, which confuses me somewhat! I have never considered myself a fan of Tom Ford. For the longest time it has seemed to me like a case of the emperor's new clothes. I guess I don't need to say I was primed to dislike everything about this fragrance, even expecting to, when I came across this at a perfume shop. Is this a good time to mention I dislike patchouli?

If only Tom Ford White Patchouli upheld the promise of its opening accord, I would have been ready to give it 5 stars. It opens up on such a sultry accord of spices and amber with patchouli’s chocolate bitterness perceptible underneath; it is difficult not to fall under its spell. Yet, after an opulent prelude, the composition veers into the barren territory of sharp woods and pale musks. Perhaps this suggests that I prefer my patchouli in the darker registers, full of its earthy, pungent facets. Years ago in 2008 I splurged for a FB: it was a blind buy based on some recommendations and on the fact I love patchouli (at the time, before Sephora or Douglas carried the line, TF was not so accessible in Italy, hence the blind buy).use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity. I found this 100ml for an insanely good price, and I knew the bottle was legit... so I had to. I figured I could resell or swap. The patch is strong (as you'd imagine) in this, but there seems little else of interest is happening. Opens with patch, continues with patch, closes with patch...which is all well and good, but I can buy a bottle of good Patchouli essential oil, a bottle of carrier oil, and make myself a body oil that achieves the same effect for a lot less money. And I often do just that, or add some patchouli oil to unscented body lotion to make a lovely body lotion to layer with my perfumes. As soon as I sprayed it,I could see why I disliked it,that very sharp opening of bergamot and coriander, while fleshy patchouli and floral sharpness was easy to detect through it.still I'm not fond of the opening part and it smells somehow like cheap-smelling handmade perfume oils which were popular in past where I live,but... None of the flowers try to show up as patchouli doesn't insist on making this all about itself, they're all in a perfect harmony
