The Play edition I’ve been play-testing in this review is made in China, with cheaper material, and in part, different technology. It’s super affordable at about a third of the price of the Pro, which is made in Japan. The Tour falls somewhere in the middle and is made in Taiwan. Players who wanted a similar version of Arcsaber 10 may be disappointed. The testing sample I used was weighed 88g and around 100g before and after putting on the strings and grip. Arcsaber 11 feels relatively even-balanced in the swing but it certainly has a touch weight in the head. It’s just enough to know where the head is without being too much for those players that enjoy an even balance racquet. Another thing, string tension. I’ve tried racquets strung at 24 and 25 and I just don’t like it. I’ve been hesitating between 26 and 27, which one would the AS11 support better? In the middle, there’s the Tour-version which is slightly more affordable than the Pro but follows a similar set of specs and requires a higher skill level (like the Pro) than the Play to enjoy playing with.

As I said, I can’t try any of these racquets, which is what annoys me so much, if I could try them I already would’ve bought one 🙁 Lightweight and Durable: The 4U weight (avg. 83g) makes it easy to maneuver and the graphite frame ensures durability. The single-pass grommet hole construction offers a high-performance stringing pattern, providing more grommet holes for optimal stringing. In an attempt to make this more tangible, I’ll give you an arbitrary number as that can sometimes be easier to understand. It felt as if I was able to hit one meter (roughly one yard) further on a clear, or with 25% more power, when using the powerful Yonex Astrox 100 Game compared to the Arcsaber 11 Play if I didn’t concentrate hard on my technique during the shot (as is often the case if we’re under pressure during a match). Smash is easy, very accurate, controlled, and forgiving a well, I would say it’s better than Arcsaber 10. Don’t expect a smash that’s powerful and solid like Yonex Voltric Z Force 2, but then for sure, it’s also much more forgiving. Mid Court and Net Area Performance

The square-shaped ISOMETRIC frame shape is designed to keep vertical strings at a similar length, as well as the horizontal strings to produce an expanded sweet spot in all directions. Graphics are similar to its predecessor the Arcsaber 10 with predominantly red paint with flashes of white and yellow. It’s a striking racquet and apart from looks, has a similar feel to Arcsaber 10. From reading the specifications, it would seem the main differences are with the introduction of “sonic metal” in the head and the noticeably thinner, albeit it stiff shaft. As you would expect, the racquet was accompanied by the standard Arcsaber full length cover.Arcsaber 11 is a very nice racquet. It’s main forte is that it’s a really good all-rounder, delivering a high degree of power, balanced with the ability to turn on the speed to cope with defending , mid-court exchanges and frenzied net play. Is it a major step up from Arcsaber 10? I’d say there’s not much in it. I noticed that the added control over the shuttle was especially handy on tight shots around the net and midcourt where a slight difference in placement can make or break a shot. On the world scene Taufik Hidyat is using this racquet and there is a special edition in his name, although it looks relatively dull in a metallic grey/silver. Other than that, there are a number of players using Arcsaber 11 this season although I have no idea whether this is by choice. I always begin a test with clears. This provides me with an initial feel in terms of the swing of the racquet, flex, feel of the head in the swing and power capability. The lightweight "New" Built-in T-Joint is crafted from epoxy resin material, enhancing stability and performance. This innovation stabilizes the shuttle on the string bed and through the air, contributing to improved gameplay.

This product was first released on February 25, 2022, making it a relatively new addition to the market. Documentation/User Guide

The Arcsaber 7 Play’s more flexible shaft makes it suitable for beginners, whereas the Arcsaber 11 Play is for you if your technique is around the intermediate level. Yonex Arcsaber 11 Play vs. Astrox 77 Play I feel more power, and even more accurate control. With this racquet, everyone can improve their game.” Taufik Hidayat My clears fly to the rear court with no effort. I hit the shuttles slightly off the center and it still flew well. Sweetspot was large and I am happy with the clear. No, there was no solid feeling from the stringbed like the Head-heavy Yonex Voltric Z Force 2, but the result was decent. Drop shots and Slice One way to look at it is that it helps you hit and guide the shuttle towards where you want it to, which if you’re only looking to hammer shots off, might not matter as much to you.
