Very apt for the office/school, date, and just casual occasions given it's performance. Works well on anyone under 40, maybe save for anyone under 16.In the later course the base comes with gently sensual woody notes. Amber, musk, sandalwood, cedar and tonka are in the pyramid. You can sign it like that. Notes used for the base. A gentle station wagon that always goes and ends well. Especially soft sandalwood is well perceptible here. Even the initial DNA has not completely disappeared. Crowdpleaser, even if nothing really extraordinary. This is a beautiful scent I have gotten compliments from multiple women, but 3 particular times stand out. I find this a fresh elegant floral scent and the name Chic perfectly describes it, I love to wear it on sunny days in spring and summer. And I owned two bottles of Intuition by Estee Lauder, another scent that made me feel clean all day, and that I would like to own again.

Second time, I walked out of a gas station and I kid you not a woman followed me out off the gas station and said “ hey you! what cologne are you wearing?” PS this was 2+ hrs after applying and it was in the dead of winter in January with strong winds. You get the semblance of melon in the opening, not a clean or bright melon, but a sweet-spicy melon-like scent mixed with some inoffensive peppers. This is the best part, and unfortunately only lasts in the opening. The mid dabs into some "cinnamon" which smells to me like pencil shavings. Thankfully, the mid is also short lived. The drydown introduces a vanilla-amber combo, which is very pleasant, although nothing groundbreaking or unique.
