An incredible flavour, decent macros and actual Oreo pieces – overall, the Grenade x Oreo bar is no less than a masterpiece. White Chocolate Oreo These Oreo cookie bars should be stored in an airtight food storage container. They will last at least three days, but they do become more dense the longer they’re kept. They do not freeze well. It’s a nice, chocolate-y bar but it’s interesting that Grenade decided to come out with this when their Fudge Brownie bar is such a classic.

Recently, Grenade have been nailing their flavours. White Chocolate Salted Peanut, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, and Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel have all been up there with the best of them, but I’ll admit I was skeptical about this one. Microwave white baking chips on half power (very important) until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. If you’ve ever turned your nose up at something that’s ‘too sweet’, this bar probably isn’t for you. That being said, it’s wonderful. With the Carb Killas, Grenade have managed to produce a bar which genuinely tastes like a chocolate bar. I’m not even lying, it’s amazing. Because we have real OREO pieces in our OREO bar, the bar contains wheat unlike the rest of the Grenade Protein Bar range. Our OREO Protein bars contain Milk, Soya and Wheat indefinitely, they may contain traces of nuts and mustard. WARNINGS:She is also the author of the upcoming cookbook: Dinner, then Dessert – Satisfying Meals Using Only 3, 5 or 7 Ingredients which is being published by Harper Collins. I do have several Oreo recipes already on my blog such as my Oreo Cupcakes, Strawberry Oreo Fudge, No-Bake Oreo Cheesecake and more. I know you all love Oreos like me. Well, not all of you do, but a large percentage do! I will admit that Oreos don’t always stay as my favourite biscuit, I adore others like Custard Creams, or even the classic Digestive.. but Oreos are just more popular on the internet! The centre is soft, fudgey and slightly chewy, just like the previous two bars but this time with a nice chocolate flavour. The caramel layer adds a richness and a hint of salt which mixes well with the chocolate coating to create an overall flavour that reminds of, well, a fudge brownie!

As usual, I have nothing bad to say about Grenade’s chocolate. It’s high quality, melts instantly and adds a delightful creaminess. White Chocolate with Sweetener (23%) (Sweetener: Maltitol; Cocoa Butter, Whole Milk Powder, Emulsifier: Soy Lecithin; Natural Flavouring), Protein Blend (Calcium Caseinate ( Milk), Whey Protein Isolate ( Milk)), Bovine Collagen Hydrolysate, Humectant: Glycerol; Sweeteners: Maltitol, Sucralose; Palm Oil, Water, Fat- reduced Cocoa Powder (3%), Wheat Flour, Wheat Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Bulking Agent: Polydextrose; Sea Salt, Emulsifier: Soy Lecithin; Raising Agents: Ammonium Carbonates, Sodium Carbonates; Acidity Regulator: Sodium Hydroxide; Flavouring. One thing I will flag is something I’ve noticed in all Grenade’s more recent offerings – the slightly higher carb count. In this post I will review all the flavours I’ve tried so far, and I’ll update it as and when I try the new additions!I’m SO glad Grenade has done another sweet/salty flavour. They nailed the White Chocolate Salted Peanut flavour, and I had all faith they’d nail this one too. I can’t decide between the white chocolate and milk chocolate Oreo bars, so I simply won’t. 10/10. Grenade Bars – Best to Worst It’s an unexpected dessert that helps to break up heavier items on the dessert table. You know what I mean, when everything is rich chocolate chocolate chocolate, you need something a little lighter to reach for here and there. Like the White Chocolate Salted Peanut, this flavour contains slightly more calories than the earlier bars – 233 calories in this one – and they also contain slightly less protein – 20g compared to 22g in some of the others. Chocolate chips: I’ll be using white chocolate chips for this recipe. This also tastes great with milk chocolate chips.
