Although I'm 6ft 4 inch tall and weigh 18 stone, and the wide version would be more spacious, I've only ever had normal sized bedchairs so the standard C-tech should suit me just fine. I take it that your mate has the standard solar bedchair rather than the wide version. I'm pretty sure my trakker sleeping bag is the 365 (it's about 20 years old now so must be one of the original ones but boy is it comfy). I'll probably just get the bedchair then but will need to take my sleeping bag with me to make sure it fits on the solar before I buy it.

The Nash Scope Ops 4 Sleep System’s compact transport size and light weight (12.4kg all-in) definitely steal the show. However, there’s a lot more to this sleep system than portability. This sleep system features a high-density mattress, a 6-leg frame, and a hollow-fibre luxury duvet with baffles. It’s safe to say that not only is the Scope bedchair portable, it’s extremely comfortable and suitable for all seasons. How long have you had it please mate and did you get it as a sleep system or bedchair only. If you got it as a system with a 5 season bag, is the bag any good. Sorry for all the questions. I just had to take a look at the Solar SP C-Tech Sleep System after so many people have said how good it is. As someone who is a terrible sleeper when on the bank, I was all ears and ready to give it a go!

This is the big-boy version of the SP sleep system with an extra 15cm width. If that's your thing they're good. I sometimes had actual bruises, and I'm not particularly heavy built or anything. Would definetely try them first though. Been a few threads with the solar bed/sleepsystem mentioned and the solar is superb.I have the solar bed and it is the best made bed I have owned by a mile.I have had a few fox sleep systems and the solar is better imo

I've got the Trakker Oval V2 sleep system and find it more restrictive than my old Fox Mk2 flatlighter. I'm only 5ft 9 11 stone so given your height and weight I would definitely discount the Trakker as it would be too small in my opinion. A full sleep system provides you with an all-in-one system that you can start doing nights in instantly. A bedchair alone is not a full system and will need a sleeping bag or fitted duvet to create a suitable sleep system. B) Can You Use a Bedchair Year-Round? The Dwarf range is Nash’s answer for the angler who can’t quite afford the items in their more pricey Scope range. There are several products in this collection including rods, nets, and of course this bedchair. The best carp fishing bedchair should be supportive and warm enough to get a good night’s rest, at least until you’re awoken from a bite. Night fishing can take its toll on your body after a while, but having a decent bedchair will definitely make your sessions easier.

The Avid Benchmark Leveltech Sleep System is one of the best bedchairs for comfort. If you’re looking for an excellent balance between support, comfort, and weight, this is the one to have. If you’re on a budget, I don’t think you’ll get a much better sleep system. It’s well-priced, fairly light, comfortable enough, and it has endured the rugged life-style of a carper that’s fishing wild lakes most of the year in the forests of Sweden. Again, if you’re looking for comfort, the Nash MF60 Indulgence Sleep System is a fantastic bedchair to look at. Nash has been making high-quality bedchairs for decades and they’re definitely leading the market. Coming in at a whopping 22.5kg and measuring 75x70x42cm folded (the standard), this definitely isn’t the best option for those of you that like to stay on the move while you’re fishing. However, if you’re looking for ultimate comfort and luxury on holiday-style sessions, or waters that have easily accessible pegs, this is a fantastic bedchair. In my opinion, a sleep system should be lightweight and easily portable. However, whether this is important to you will depend on your angling needs.
