This is a real issue for large units of Daemon Troops, where having 20+ models is where you start to get good bonuses. The net impact is that you’ll need a way to protect daemons more from being shot and you’ll likely want to take a harder look at Daemons units that don’t come in massive blobs. Their points increase was minor, and they combine fast movement with a 4+ invulnerable save and the ability to hurt Infantry and Vehicles now thanks to Lamprey Bite. No Man’s Land: If you control at least half of the objective markers in No Man’s Land at the start of a phase, then No Man’s Land is considered within the Shadow Of Chaos.

Each Change Coven rewards you for choosing a thematic army with powerful and distinct new abilities. Want to blow stuff up? The Eternal Conflagration is for you! In this Change Coven, Flamers of Tzeentch are Battleline, meaning if you like, you can have an army made almost exclusively of these fire-spewing monstrosities! What’s more, they’ll be capable of chewing through even the heaviest of armour thanks to the Twisters of Materiality ability.

The only way known way to end a Pink Horror's jubilant mood is to blow it to pieces or otherwise cut it apart. It is then that the Pink Horror undergoes a total transformation, splitting into halves that reshape themselves into smaller copies of the original. These new Daemons are different from their predecessor in two respects. The first is that their colour changes from pink to vivid blue, earning them the name of Blue Horrors. The second change is that the gleeful attitude of the Pink Horror is reversed -- Blue Horrors are morose, whining and petty, eternally squabbling about whose fault it was that they lost their pink status once again. Make an exception for newly created units of Blue or Brimstone Horrors that allows enemy units that shot at the original Pink or Blue Horror unit to be able to assault them (similar to the way a unit that destroys a transport with shooting may then assault the newly debarked unit). This prevents the Daemon player from using newly created Blue/Brimstone Horrors units to effectively always screen his army with these units, and seems completely fluffy as well. The unique thing about Blue Horrors is the fact a pair of Blue Horrors are spawned when a Pink Horror dies. A base of Brimestone Horrors consisting of two flame like sprites is spawned when a Blue Horror is slain. The Blue Horrors box set of models is awesome.
