Reception acted out the story beautifully, showing the progression from Kindergarten as we ask the Reception children to stand on stage in the limelight and say their words. Along the journey, we met Caesar and his group of census-takers, angels, shepherds and kings on a journey to follow the star and arrive at the stable for the birth of the baby Jesus.

Mrs Hooper, along with an all-girl cast of Reception children, helped to narrate the story of the first Christmas. To bring the story to life further, Mary and Joseph were led to Bethlehem by a real-life donkey (well, actually a pony, but dressed up as a donkey!) This made the Nativity even more magical.
