About this deal

This passage says that it will be Fuegan who calls all of the Aeldari Phoenix Lords for the Last Battle, the Rhana Dandra, and the Burning Lance will be the last of his brethren to die in that conflict, when the footsteps of Daemon kings and demigods shake the galaxy, resulting in the final death of the Aeldari race and their gods alike, as the price for the elimination of Chaos within the Immaterium.

Let’s take a look at how Fire Dragons are being used on the table, and then I’ll offer up my own opinion on this suddenly popular aspect warrior. As we already stated, Fire Dragons exist for one purpose: to show up near something big and dangerous and blast it to death. They usually die themselves shortly afterwards, but hopefully whatever you point them at is important enough that you still got your value’s worth out of them before they went down- and managing that is the key to succeeding with the unit. The Burning Wing Shrine - The Aspect Warriors of the Burning Wing rarely enter battle without Wave Serpent support, enabling them to visit swift destruction upon foes anywhere on the battlefield. What: Warpspiders (+Phoenixlord), Firedragons (male & female), Fuegan, Bonesingers, Striking Scorpions, Karandras, Banshees, Jain Zar, Farseer, Rangers, Illic Nightspear, Dark Reapers Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today!

Now, the Craftworlds Eldar fly through space, seeking survival in a hostile universe, and fighting death with every fibre of their being. Their Craftworlds – entire nations bound in semi-organic matter, powered by psychic energy from their Infinity Circuits – are the last vestige of this once great power. Aeldari society has completely changed, focused now on control and discipline, as they refuse to fall to the same terrors which blighted the Eldar of the past. Codex: Eldar Craftworlds (7th Edition) (Digital Edition), "Fuegan," "Fire Dragons", "Datasheet - Fuegan The Burning Lance" Fuegan learned the arts of war in the Shrine of Asur, under the eyes of Asurmen in that distant time, many Terran millennia ago, when the Warrior Aspects were first born. When the Asurya made their way across the galaxy, it was Fuegan who founded the shrines of the Fire Dragon upon the craftworlds -- the Warrior Aspect whose teachings advocate the utter annihilation of the enemy so that their demise is assured beyond all doubt.

As befits their shrine's tactical focus, the Fire Dragons' Exarchs are masters of destroying enemy strongholds, well-armoured troops or emplaced weapons. Exarchs often have versed their squad in the art of stalking armoured vehicles and being able to spot weak points in their armour with uncanny speed.

HeresyLab : They've got an Autarch that doesn't really fit with the traditionnal Eldar style, two seers, a Titan and, IIRC, a Warp Spider. Plus a bunch of other minis for other factions. We’ve seen a ton of rules rumors for the Eldar, but we haven’t seen a ton for the Fire Dragons quite yet. So, it’s good to get an idea of what they can do. Obviously, since the book isn’t out yet, these are rumors, still, they look pretty legit. The first of all Phoenix Lords, Asurmen was the founder of the Dire Avengers Aspect Path, one of the most numerous Aspects of all. He is an exemplar of precision on the battlefield, devastating enemies with his elegant approach to warfare. When called to arms their goal is the total annihilation of their foes, to the exclusion of all else. Fire Dragons are aggressive and warlike close combat fighters who utilise heat-based weaponry to destroy enemy armoured vehicles and drive the foe from his fortified strongpoints.

If it had ended there, no one could doubt the Eldar had paid a fitting price for their vile empire, but Slaanesh’s curse went even further. Firstly, the majority of the Aeldari Gods were brutally slain, leaving only a few to escape into the hidden places of the universe. The second, and most damning, impact caused by Slaanesh’s creation involves death itself. Without Gods to shepherd their souls the Eldar swiftly found that after death they were consumed by this nascent dark God. Firepike - Fuegan is armed with a massive, elongated fusion-based weapon known as a Firepike. These fusion weapons cause the molecules of the target to hyper-vibrate, generating so much heat that their targets burst into flames before suddenly liquefying and then evaporating into nothingness. A good opponent will be all about calculating threat range. X unit can move X inches and then shoot X inches. So those Fire Dragons sitting in the transport can potentially move 24″ + the 12″ star engine move to threaten next turn or move the 12″ to threaten this turn. That good opponent will see where you can go and adjust accordingly. Just be having those dragons in a certain area could potentially shut down parts of the table, especially if your opponent is looking to move an expensive or mission critical unit. Titan Forge : The ancient spectres range is obviously another take on Eldars. They've got Warp Spiders, Motojets and a heavy weapon. The Blazing Fang Shrine - The Blazing Fang pierce enemy armour with focussed blasts from their fusion guns. Should a vehicle survive the initial assault, the warriors deliver a payload of melta bombs into its glowing wound, finishing the job in a huge explosion that sends gobbets of molten metal in all directions.

Wargame Exclusive : They've got some Warp Spiders, male and female version, an exarch, and a Dark Eldar character. With the release of the 9th edition of Warhammer 40,000, fans saw a lot of armies undergo drastic changes that meant almost having to re-learn how to play. Craftworlds Eldar have experienced the knife of rebalancing much the same as others, and without a codex available at the time of writing, there are many more changes ahead for the stalwart Aeldari. The Red Wyrm Shrine - Exarchs of the Red Wyrm make heavy use of flamers to reduce masses of the foe to glowing embers.

In this role each Fire Dragon wields a potent Fusion Gun, capable of reducing an enemy to a cloud of superheated vapour in a second, or a battle tank into a pile of molten slag. Against targets too formidable to be damaged by even these fearsome weapons, the Fire Dragons carry Melta Bombs, disc-shaped fusion-based explosives which can be attached to any surface and detonated on command. You are the hand that must cast the spear of flames. Control the dragon, channel its power, and in all things mantain absolute focus. Only the concentrated beam can penetrate, and only that which is tempered will not break. Finally, be not afraid. In the end, everything burns." Fire Dragons are the dedicated tank-and-monster hunters of the Craftworlds armies; armed with some of the most devastating weaponry in the Eldar arsenals, they train relentlessly in the practice of total destruction of their enemies. Although their duties place them in extreme danger, right at the heart of the enemy’s strongest forces, Fire Dragons have faith in the power of the Cosmic Serpent from which they take their name and battle posture- no foe, mortal or otherwise, can stand up to the forces they wield. The Phoenix Lord of the Fire Dragons is Fuegan, "The Burning Lance." Fuegan learned the arts of war in the Shrine of Asur, under the eyes of the first Phoenix Lord Asurmen in that distant time millennia ago when the Warrior Aspects were first born. Fuegan founded the first Aspect Shrine of the Fire Dragons, and schooled the first Aspect Warriors of the shrine in the art of war with flame and savagery.
