Description

The brightness of a light is important, but without colour accuracy, you will end up spending a ton of time and money in post-production. The Forza 300BII features a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 98, meaning you can shoot confidently knowing the colour reproduction will be precise.

Perfect for use in the studio or on location, the Forza 500 can run off either the included AC adapter or 2x 26V V-Mount batteries (Not Included) so you can operate in any location regardless of power availability. The light also works well when used with bounce boards or the CRLS reflector system when you combine it with the Fresnel or Nanlite Projector. Who is the Forza 300B II aimed at? Compact design for control box with power adapter incorporated inside, reducing the overall size of the Forza 300/300B II by 16%

Forza 500 II & 500B II

BOWENS STYLE LIGHT MODIFIER MOUNT: By utilizing the near-universal Bowens style light modifier mount and incorporating an umbrella holder into the yolk, the Forza 200 is compatible with a massive selection of light modifiers. Including, but not limited to, Nanlite's line of fresnels, softboxes, and umbrellas. Above you can see the spectral distribution of the Forza 300B II when it is set at 3200K. The spectral distribution of the light is pretty decent for a 3200K source and 500 are the most powerful LED monolights that Nanlite makes, outputting 300 and 500 watts respectively. Both models have a daylight-balanced 5600K color temperature with an average CRI of 98 and TLCI of 95, which means they're incredibly accurate. Now, what you should always do when testing lights is to see if the CCT remains consistent when dimming the light. Just because you set a light at say 5600K, that doesn’t mean that the CCT will remain stable as you start dimming the fixture down. I also wanted to see how linear the dimming curve was.

The power supply/controller is also nicely made, and again, I couldn’t find any flaws or problems with it. The fans that are built into the heads of the new Forza 300 II and 300B II are 9 dBA quieter than the last generation. The fans also now have 4modes: Smart, Low speed, Full speed, and Off, when complete silence is required on set.

The included carrying bag has been upgraded as well and it now features solid hollow plates and enhanced stitching. When you mix with ambient light and other fixtures, adjusting the green-to-magenta shift lets the 300B II perfectly match. This is also useful when you want to achieve a specific look, but you need to tweak the color to get there. It's rare for a spotlight to have this feature, but you get it in Forza 300B II. New adjustable cooling system with 4 operation modes available: SMART, FULLSPEED, LOW SPEED, and OFF The Nanlite Forza 300B II Bi-Color LED Spotlight excels at being as compact and lightweight as possible—yet capable of delivering a truly impressive amount of output (68060 Lux, 6323 fc at 1 meter 5600K with included reflector). It was built for professional production with a versatile CCT range of 2700K–6500K, durable construction, control options for Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX/RDM, a protected, frosted-glass covered COB, and a fully redesigned yoke and Control Unit with the ability to efficiently run on AC or side-mounted V-Mount batteries (sold separately). You can have complete confidence in its performance as the 300B II has a highly accurate CRI average of 96 and a TLCI of 97. It's also the world's first 300-watt bi-color spotlight with the ability to adjust the green-to-magenta shift by +/- 80, which is made possible by its WW(RG) LED source and light-mixing chamber.
