About this deal

Personally, I didn’t like the latest games in either of those series. Dirt Rally 2.0 was so hardcore that it took the fun out of rally games, and Dirt 5 is unrecognizable as a rally game.

Grid Legends was great. WRC 2023 has Sega GT Dreamcast's feature but expanded upon I assume yes please wanted that for years now. Besides I assume other noteworthy things. Fixed an issue where framerate would be negatively impacted by the number of peripherals connected to a player’s PC. Fixed an issue where the game would crash while completing a Season of Career after winning the WRC2 Championship. Another patch for the game is in the works, and is due to release in mid-December. Have you been enjoying EA Sports WRC? Have you experienced many problems while playing? Cut into the comments section below.Elsewhere, the patch makes improvements across the entire game; fixing crash instances, improving and fixing graphical issues, correcting voice and text errors, audio adjustments, Builder mode's user interface, improvements to lots of vehicles, specific co-driver calls, and much more. Resolved an issue where in the Ford Fiesta WRC 2019 the driver would pull the handbrake instead of the paddles to shift gears.

Option to increase subtitles size. Includes colour blind settings for people with deuteranopia, protanopia, and tritanopia. Mono Mix can be adjusted, and the left and right audio channels can be re-balanced. Full button remapping, and extensive options for driving assists. EA Sports WRC will feature 18 official WRC locations and over 600km (370 miles) of challenging terrain on asphalt, gravel, and snow, with over 200 stages at launch - more than WRC Generations' 165 special stages. You can find the EA Sports WRC stage list here. IMMERSIVE - Revel in euphoric moments as you battle the elements across dirt, snow and asphalt in the pursuit of the perfect run The benefactor is your barometer for success in the career. Providing you weekly budgets to adhere to, they also give you various objectives to meet throughout the season — placing high enough in the WRC standings, or attending a certain number of manufacturer invitationals, for example. Fulfilling these extra tasks will net you a lot of favour with the benefactor, leading to increased budgets and potentially better contracts in later seasons. Balancing all your budgets and ensuring you're keeping the benefactor happy is a little different from your usual Career mode, but it's a fine structure that still lets you live out the fantasy of ascending the rallying ranks.

That big 50th Anniversary mode is an important part of this year’s game, and it’s by far the biggest injection of historical content to the series since KT Racing started adding classic cars in WRC 8. With its own separate menu and period photography it does feel quite special at first, although there’s ultimately not really a great deal to it. They’re just a small collection of time trials with a little bit of text to explain the historical context of what you’re about to do. Fixed an issue where in-game menus could not be navigated while using the Fanatec GT DD Pro with the Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel BMW GT2 V2. The difference between a 1972 Lancia Fulvia HF and a 1997 Ford Escort Mk VI Maxi is vast: like going from a boot of Italian leather, warmly broken and rich with give, to a New Balance running shoe, with its springy sole and double-knotted refusal to slip. What's more, the stages (of which there are some 204, with 12 of the 13 official WRC 2023 locations present and correct) offer a catalogue of vivid textures. Try driving a 1964 Mini Cooper S in Sweden, among snowy spruces, and note the hard, flinty smoothness of the turns. The weather, too, though not dynamic, plays a fine supporting role. One run, along a sunny alpine ridge, feels starkly different to a similar setting after the rain; you go from sliding neatly round dry and crumbly bends, as if the course had been dusted with instant coffee granules, to a pebble-crammed slurry of doom. Fixed an issue where decals applied to the rear bodywork Style #2 and Style #5 on Builder would not apply correctly.

Resolved an issue where interrupting the starting countdown would cancel out the instructor’s voiceover. Changed the default Graphics settings for Reflections to Medium, when using High or Ultra graphics presets, to reduce CPU throttling (note: does not overwrite custom selected settings). Being the official WRC game, all teams and drivers from the 2022 WRC season will be in WRC 11. This means you’ll be putting the new Ford Puma Rally1, Hyundai i20 N Rally1, and Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 through their paces.
