This Filco Majestouch 2 TKL is worth every penny. It's great to find that Cherry makes the Silent Red MX switches!

The board is quite inclined even without the feet extended, which may not be to everyone's taste. The key surface also sits quite high compared to other (non-mechanical) keyboards I've used - I found I needed to lower my desk surface about 1cm to be comfortable and I may need to get a wrist rest.Tony12/08/2016Excellent keyboard with superb tactile response, each key is nicely weighted and slightly concave making fast typing much easier. The space bar stays level and depresses no matter where along the bar you hit it from, which is a first for any keyboard I have used. My only major issue so far is with the spacebar. It has one cherry MX switch in the middle, and then a metal bar going horizontally with plastic holds at the end, rather than 3 cherry switches. Karl29/09/2020This keyboard is replacing a 7 year old QPad keyboard with cherry blue switches that I broke recently. I've had the Filco Majestouch-2 for 24 hours and I'm very happy with it. It's sturdy and is a pleasure to use, and I think I quite like the feel of the brown switches; there's less resistance than with blue switches so maybe my fingers will last longer with this keyboard too. I also loved that they included a FILCO branded velcro cable tidy, a nice additional touch. I’ll most certainly make use of it. With this, it can release any excess load or vibration that you make when you type in to a board not only to a metal plate inside. It enables you to enjoy a better typing feel!

Vincent27/04/2022This is a great keyboard, sturdy, and typing gives a good solid feel, if you don't use the numeric keypad this model saves space on your desk. Media functions are available on Majestouch 3! They work with an "FN" key press - you can adjust media without your fingers leaving the keys.I think the decision to use ABS keycaps could be seen as a positive if it’s used to pass on a saving to the end user.
