About this deal

and i love this book. now was everything about this book ALL RAINBOWS AND SUNSHINE like I’m making it out to be? No. But that’s exactly how I feel about this book!! Yes, this book touches on dark topics and subject matter. But I’m speaking on how I feel, how I felt while reading this. —and my experience was that I was living in Technicolor! This book is told in multiple points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, J.F. Harding and Jillian Macie who all do a great job. These are some of my favorite male narrators and all have deep masculine and sexy voices. Jillian also does a great job and sounds age appropriate for Brax. B.B. Reid was amazing at describing the scenes and tour life in a way that you actually feel like you are touring with the band. We get multiple points of views from our main characters and I loved seeing their growth throughout the year or so that this book takes place. Stars equals I am buying a physical copy of this book. I will read this book at least 10 more times, it is the best ever. I rarely buy ebooks unless they are cheaply priced or on sale. I also very rarely buy physical copies of books. I’m a bit of a minimalist so I have to absolutely adore a book to buy a physical copy that will be proudly displayed in my home.

An attempt is made to create interesting and mysterious characters. In practice, very stereotypical figures were obtained. The drama in the last 10% is like, 0-60 in two milliseconds flat. Emily comes out of nowhere and tries to murder everyone. This isn't resolved well at all, and having most of the book be character-driven rather than plot-driven means that the action subplot isn't well integrated into the book as a whole. Instead, it just feels like it's been stuffed into the end. Lilac was so much more than I ever expected. Since it is a true Reverse Harem, I had some assumptions, but I never expected the heart and depth that accompanied the heat factor of Lilac. It tore at my heart, it made me remember the perseverance and healing power of real love, and it epitomizes that it comes in all shapes and sizes. Happiness in life, living with love in your heart is all that matters. Braxton, Houston, Rich, and Loren all had their own point-of-view which I was so grateful for because it helped grow their individuality as characters. It felt as though they were all equals throughout the entirety of the book. The chemistry they had with one another was incomparable. I fell in love with each of them separately but them together was purely magical. Throughout the book, we slowly got a better understanding of who they were as characters and the reasoning behind their actions. We were spectators to their qualities, as well as their flaws, as a band, as friends, and as lovers. My attachment for them simply grew stronger and stronger as all the ups and downs of the novel unfolded.Linked to the above: this is a very long, about 170k words. But I think this is a great length. I didn't find that it dragged at all, and actually if it had been any shorter this would have done a disservice to the story being told.

Revision Col 3 Collins at Home | Support for schools Home tutors Letts Revision Collins4Parents Collins Book Sale Revision for students What was for me exaggerated and grotesque in her previous books that I read was repeated here as well. Scattered and unfounded plot. Ridiculously childish and dramatic characters. There was so much to this novel. So many experiences, feels, sights, and sounds! The author does an amazing job pulling you into the action of the scenes and honestly I got swept up and didn't want to leave. This was an experience I savored and enjoyed!

Jericho is the sensible emo follower. He's always accepting everything, good or bad, in the hopes of keep his best friends together. So, whether you're an RH fan or not, all BB fans should dive head first into this book. Do it! I promise you'll thank me! Highly recommended!
