The author moved from Brooklyn to a cabin in the Santa Cruz mountains and she and her husband use local produce creating a community through cooking healthy food. This book was so fun to make— our family road tripped all over California in 2019 and 2020 staying in 10 different cabin-ish places, everywhere from the ocean to the mountains to the desert. We got culinary inspiration along the way by visiting farms, ranches and wineries and I went home to create simple, colorful vegetarian recipes inspired by it all. Make a single serving, or a whole platter to share. For one person, I used 1 medium-sized tomato, 4 figs and 3 sliced of mozzarella. Through Tesco Northern Ireland’s ‘Taste” campaign, our number one priority is identifying quality, local produce and working with the businesses to introduce their products to Northern Ireland consumers – and beyond – through a range of initiatives that include in-store sampling, event attendance and marketing support.”

We love jigsaw puzzles. Love them. And these Magic Puzzles are amazing – incredibly inventive. The creative minds behind these just blow us away. We’re actually going to frame one of the puzzle pictures/guides for my studio. Incredible stuff. The only other puzzles that come close are Sue Coccia’s puzzles for Liberty, which are admittedly wonderful but also very expensive.You cannot go wrong with any of these. My one complaint is that there are only six. We’d happily buy more! Still, the positives far outweighed that one negative, so I certainly won't hold that against it. It's a great addition to any kitchen, and makes vegetarian entertaining simple and a joy. The bedroom at the house we rented @humboldtbaysocialclub had a soaking tub and beautiful wood details. Loved the whole concept of this place!Too much rosemary. Rosemary burns my mouth and makes it numb, I don't know if I'm allergic to it or just hate the way it tastes that much, but I'm not taking any chances.

We absolutely loved this puzzle! There are so many cute little things to notice as you do it, and then the final surprise is the icing on the cake! It’s just the right amount of challenging for a family puzzle. Not too hard for kids (or for easily distracted/discouraged adults), but still has enough quirky bits to keep it exciting for grown ups. Going to buy others from this company for sure! This A-frame had beautiful midcentury touches and was perched in the trees near Big Bear Lake. (Airbnb or VRBO, can't remember) A Vibrant Feast: Special dinner event with author Kimberley Hasselbrink- we both cooked dishes from our new cookbooks at 18 Reasonsin San Francisco. (July 2014) Climate change affects every person, in every country, on every continent. We need to act now to protect our beautiful world and we want to make a difference by becoming a more planet positive company. I sat down over the next weekend and compiled a list of all these weird-to-me veggies and strange-to-me ingredients and hit the grocery store!Yes, this features a cool ending. However, that’s like the 4th best feature of the puzzle.Quality 10/10 (there hasn’t been another brand of puzzle that comes close for me. That I’ve done!)Presentation 10/10 – comes with two poster images to reference. Great for couples.Visual 10/10 But the reality, is that when you actually break it all down to what the actual content is - the recipes - there really isn't a whole lot there! Join us next June & July for our signature feast over fire. Escape to our remarkable hidden woodland nestled amongst the Chiltern Hills and indulge in a foraged feast cooked over an open flame inspired by the wild ingredients that grow in abundance around us. Vaia windstorm acts as a trigger, resurfacing issues of uncontrolled forestation and neglect in the last century in Italy.

Jonathan and I still live in the woods and we now have 3 kids, Ezra (born 2014) and Max (born 2017) and Winnie (born 2020). I recently planted a borage plant in our little garden box…those pretty small blue edible flowers. Seems easy to grow and loving the pop of color it adds!
