Not in last place, there is the soldered memory problem. Well, it works as intended, but it can’t be upgraded. On the bright side, you can find one M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage. Tested by an independent third-party laboratory according to the ISO 22196 standard (Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces). If we had to point out one glaring weakness, however, it would be the webcam. Despite it being 1080p, featuring automatic lighting correction, and coming through on an OLED screen, the camera quality is average thanks to small bezels hampering it. The image is quite clear in very bright lighting but anything lower than that and the quality tanks. So unless you have an excellent lighting setup, expect your visage to look pretty mediocre.

In another review I had already read that the laptop got very hot. That was indeed the case, really very hot. The manufacturer indicates that this should not be the case and advises to reset the laptop and update the driver. I haven't tried that.In the illustration below you can see how the display performs from a uniformity perspective. The illustration below shows how matters are for operational brightness levels (approximately 140 nits). For better or for worse, the memory of this device is soldered to the motherboard. It totals 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Storage-wise, there is one M.2 PCIe x4 slot. The keyboard is custom-built to be a perfect writing machine. The keycaps are oh-so-slightly curved inwards, not enough to actually see but enough that it guides your fingertips to the center of each key while typing. Coupled with the larger keys and wider keyboard that even fits in a numpad and you have an Ultrabook that makes typing for hours as comfortable as possible. The touchpad is also silky-smooth, ultra-responsive, and resists fingerprints to boot.

After that, we test the reaction time of the pixels with the usual “Gray-to-Gray” method from 50% White to 80% White and vice versa between 10% and 90% of the amplitude. One thing we wondered, was if 1.80 kilos wouldn’t be a bit too heavy. Well, it is definitely not more comfortable than 13, or 14-inch notebooks, but the weight is quite evenly distributed, which really improves the handling. I had the reverse problem on Asus Zenbook UX370UAR with Realtek ALC295: the speakers worked, the wired headphones - not.
Hello Guiguy. Thank you for your suggestion. I installed Intel's latest graphic driver and unfortunately it doesn't fix my problem. However, if keep the Pixel Shift function turned off on my Asus laptop, then it works fine. So, I'm waiting for Asus to fix this problem somehow! With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.
