Description

This puzzle game encourages sequencing, spatial awareness, speed of thought, strategic planning and visual perception. In that regard it contributes toward STEM learning without the player’s really knowing it. That’s always a bonus! So you think you are a clever clogs do you? Well perhaps you should face The Genius Square. Fail, and you will stand in the corner with a cone shaped hat on your dunderhead. Succeed and you get to don your best certificate smile instead! You know, that smile you get when you were awarded a certificate at school and were really pleased but also wanted to look cool and not beam from ear to ear in front of your classmates! Gameplay

The Genius Square | Hobbycraft

Endless Fun - With over 62,000 puzzles to explore, the fun never has to end while playing the Genius Square game.Games are over in a flash and while this opens the options up for ‘best of five’ or similar, it can get a bit repetitive if played too much in succession. Instead of looking at specific developmental areas that children might need help with, look at their interests and how those interests can be incorporated into the toy. This will ensure that play and learn go hand in hand, allowing learning toys to develop important skills in children during their play-time. On paper, over 62,000 games sounds like a lot. In practice I would say there are actually more than that. Unless you are gifted with a photographic memory, I very much doubt you will remember if you have played a variation of the game before. Let alone remember the solution you came up with. So you could argue this game has unlimited replayability. Certainly each game will present you with a fresh challenge. As a fan of cooperative games over competitive, I bend the rules a little when I play. Rather than playing against each other, we play against the game with a round not ending until all players have solved the current puzzle. While we are limited to just three players, there is really no limit to how many players can actually take part as long as you have enough copies of the game. Two copies will allow four players to take part and, unless you are hosting a massive Genius Square games night, that should be suitable for most households. Final Thoughts Type of Products: Their products include jigsaws, board games, 3D puzzles, logic puzzles, and more. Some of their most popular products include "Genius Square" "Jigraphy" and "Illusion Cubes" puzzle sets.

If you like a challenge to get those brain cells firing and want a game that can be played solo or together, then I can highly recommend The Genius Square from The Happy Puzzle Company. The Genius Square is a very Happy Puzzle indeed (and there is even an XL version of the game if you like to play your games on a bigger scale). Solo or Groups - Do you have overly competitive friends or family? Practice on your own, as genius square game can be played as a single-player, preparing you to win! Fun For Family - The genius square game is perfect for ages 6 and up, get the family together to play the genius square game.

The Genius Squarehas now sold almost 1.4million copies worldwide. It has beennamed Game Of The Yearin both Australia and Spain, has received the second highest rating ever given to a game by The Good Toy Guide in the UKand has also won the Learning ExpressToy Award in the USA, as well as being a finalist in the USA's Toy Of The Year Awards 2021. Harrison (12): It is clever that there is always a way to complete it. You do get to know the pieces and the patterns that work well together. Games are always really close. It’s good and I like playing it with my brothers. The Genius Starhas won Toy Of The Year in the USA - a particularly powerful award as it is chosen by the industry itself. When you're shopping educational toys for your child, the first thing to consider is the age of the toy. Educational toys should be age appropriate, otherwise they will not be helpful in developing skills or learning concepts. The next thing to consider when choosing toys for children is what do we want them to learn? Do we want them to learn about animals? About colors? About counting? These are all important topics that you may want your child exposed to from an early age so that they can begin learning about these things before school starts and continue learning throughout the year. Educational toys play a big role in this, as they keep on introducing and nurturing children with educational topics, their surroundings, life skills and many more.

What I like about the Genius Square is that it’s really easy to take with you anywhere and it’s such a fun and competitive game. When we were on vacation we would bring it to dinner every night and play while we waited or just bring it around the hotel to play because you can really bring it anywhere! We even played it in the airport while waiting for our flight! What would improve the game?

What the kids thought

The board itself is a 6x6 grid; the numbers along the top and letters on the left hand side corresponding to the combinations of letters and numbers on the dice. To start each game you roll all seven dice and using those results, place the seven wooden pegs onto the board. For example, if you rolled A1, A2, B4, C6, E1 and F1, then you would place them on those squares. It’s very important if playing with someone else to make sure your grids match each other, so take a second or two to do so. Once that’s done, you are ready to play. Gameplay Bee Geniusis the first junior version in the series. It has won the Gold Medal at the UK Independent Toy Awards. There are definitely learning benefits from Genius Square! It will help you learn to see patterns and teach your brain great spatial awareness skills. What’s great about the game? Max (5): It’s really good, and I like that you race against each other. I like how the cubes fit between the circle bits. Final thoughts on The Genius Square
