Gabe, the sweet cinnamon roll construction worker who is obsessed with Elise from first sight and with debilitating confidence issues from his previous marriage. And Banks, the quiet and intense rugby star turned locally famous rugby coach with mommy issues. I'm going to keep this shorter than usual and spoiler-free so as not to ruin it for anyone who wants to read it. Keep in mind this is my personal opinion. I can tell this is TB’s first attempt at RH bc wowza. The sex scenes were just plain awkward. I. Was. Uncomfy lol. It was like she had to have each of the men involved when one of them was going to town on Elise. She even had them all say things in unison? Overall I did mostly enjoy this and I think this is honestly more of a me problem in that RHs are very hit or miss for me and tend to work more when they are set far far far away from regular life in mafia or fantasy situations than in real life New York.Elise is pretty self-absorbed. She doesn’t really think about anything but herself and that was the crux of all the issues. I couldn’t ever immerse myself into this book because of her. She does some really shitty things that kinda blow my mind because really? Girl…Come on. And the book basically had the theme that love is a cure for past hurts and trauma. One moment from Elise with each of the guys and their entire world has changed. 😔 A romantic comedy about an accidental relationship between three smitten men... and one commitment-phobic woman.
