My go-to drink recipe used to be Gin and Tonic. Specifically Empress Gin and Elderflower Tonic. I don’t know what to say, I love a good 2 ingredient drink recipe. The Malibu barbie is a truly iconic doll. Malibu barbie is so well known that we had to create a drink named after her. Of course it had to be beachy, it had to be pink and it had to taste amazing. I was never (and still am not) really a drinker. You should not ask me what drinks are good because I honestly wouldn’t know. Malibu rum is a coconut flavored liquor. Any tropical, fruity flavors will taste good with Malibu. Or course, we skip the rum part and focus on the simple, tasty flavor of coconut. Coconut water is more flavorful and much healthier to drink than rum! This could also be made into a cake, and I think a layer of fruit (think strawberries, pineapple, and cherries) would be perfect. He likes to mix coconut rum, cranberry, and orange juice, but I’ll stop there regarding his passion for fruity drinks. It is a delightful combo, too. He knows his girly beverages.
