About this deal

As Miles is introduced he is an emotionally closed off cynic, yet has the heart of an artist. The fact that Jenn’s dogs love him is enough for me to stay in his corner no matter how much I want to shake him sometimes! Although he is the CEO of a huge media firm his fumbling attempts at personal communication with Jenn are often cringe worthy. But, you just can’t help hoping he can do better next time. How Jenn and Miles meet is a funny and somewhat embarrassing meet cute and the two of them have a insta-love hate moment. The attraction is there with the sparks are flying, but these two started off on the wrong foot, which only adds fuel to the fire as enemies. And when they start to work together, their enemy status slowly changes to something like friends to lovers. It’s only when a certain playing card enters, that makes Miles realize what he really wants and the caveman in him wants to mark his territory and claim her as his own. These two are hot and cold with one another and the games they play make things complicated and blur the lines and intentions. But once they give into that pull and their need for one another, the fireworks go off. There are steamy moments and smexy scenes that will get you all hot and bothered so have your fan ready. The word kitten definitely has a different meaning to me now after reading this book. This book was more than just Enemy to lovers. This had office romance, sexy neighbor, grandmother interference, grumpy billionaire and sunshine.

Jennifer Landers has lost her Grams (Lottie). She really connected with this woman and now she is gone… except, from the grave, she is giving Jenn a chance to live the remarkable life that Grams had. On Pinnacle Pointe, a beautiful, tranquil small town Grams built a life for her family, built and ran Bee Harbor a B & B, and became an intricate part of the community. Grams left Jennifer this magical though totally rundown property. Jen left behind her unfulfilled but successful career and plans to run the Bee Harbor. Gram also left Jenn with two rambunctious Dobermans, Coffee and Cream. They are totally adorable and full of mischief. Nonetheless, I really really liked this. It hits all the office romance marks. I like the main characters, but in the way I would expect these office romance vibes to pan out. Objectively, Lincoln is a bit of a garbage can. But I loved the way this panned out, it delivered all the drama and angst I could want, and I will 100% look for more books by this author. ONE BOSSY OFFER is a smoldering, slow burn, enemies-to-lovers romance that will have you hanging on to every word because it is the perfect catalyst for love, and devouring every chapter! I found myself at times laughing and other times swooning over the handsome, sexy, dirty talking, and grumpy Miles. You simply won’t be able to get enough! This story is fun, witty banter, embarrassing hilarious situations, and moments of heartbreak. This is Miles Cromwell and Jennifer (Jenn) Landers’ story. Now that I have finished reading, all my earlier thoughts were spot on! The tension between the characters as well as the building suspense of the plot(s) is magnificent! Not once did I lose interest at any time. You could say I was held captive in the very best ways! The antagonism this couple faces is both outward and from within. Miles lets the guard down on his heart, but not with his trust. Jenn is all in, open and honest, trusting and bursting with happiness and love. Miles and Jenn have insane chemistry, so it doesn’t take long before their hatred turns to passion. But Cromwell-Narada has a strict non-fraternization policy, so a workplace romance is forbidden despite Jenn’s contractor status. And when a mysterious woman from Miles’s past comes to town, things get complicated. Miles isn’t accustomed to opening up, and Simone Niehaus infuriates him so much he just shuts down. He will never forgive her, even if his mother’s death wasn’t really her fault. But trust is shattered between Miles and Jenn, and soon his company is imploding. Simone Niehaus is set on destroying him, and he wont let Jenn get caught in the crosshairs no matter the cost. The couple faces several challenges, but they eventually find their happy ending. Piper Renee, twenty-four, is a bird geek. She might be mature for her age, but birds never fail to bring out the kid in her. She always maintains a positive outlook despite the responsibility she shoulders. Her mother walked out ten years ago, leaving Piper to step up as a substitute mother figure for her sister Maisy, who was just seven at the time, as well as look out for her ailing father. Piper can’t be away from home for long since someone needs to look after their father. Rather than take a 9 to 5 job and be tied down every day, she has used her resourcefulness to make her own way in the world. She earned a bachelor’s degree in media relations and put her knowledge to work. She combines her brains and beauty, building channels and marketing her content. As a social media influencer, she gets paid to do what she loves – travel. She hopes to travel the world, but since getting away is complicated, much of her travels are limited to B&Bs and cabins in the Pacific Northwest.

Fans will be delighted as they come across a handful of crossover references to other books by the author. Pretend we’re engaged. Smile for pretty photos like we’re soulmates. Dress up like we’re actually getting married. So people who inherit a "dinasty" and come from a billionaire families are usually surrounded by said family. They're also super traditional and family oriented. I thought after he had lost his wife, his parents died in a horrific accident.. no no, nothing as exciting and entertaining as that.... Am I rating this 4 stars because it's objectively good? Or because I was specifically in the mood for an office romance and this hit each and every spot for me? We will never know. Eliza inadvertently interferes between a meeting of a local barista, and the CEO of the coffee shop. They trade insulting words, and almost cause the barista to get fired. Eliza has accidentally left a sample of her home brewed coffee at the table, and Cole loves the flavor. What type of language is this? I understand the novel in contemporary, but does that mean the book has to be written with such garbled and busy language? I thought it was too long. By the 30% point the combative banter between Lincoln and Dakota had gone from “cute” to “really annoying”. And it never stopped. They kept rehashing the pastries, the connection to Poe, and prior wedding woes. I couldn’t see why anyone would like someone who talked to them the way Dakota did much less let them work for them.

I've read most of the books Ms. Snow has written and this is only the third book I've given a 1 or 2-star rating. I usually love her books. In fact, the last book I read by her, "No Fair Lady," I had this to say in my review: Stunning, incredible, breath-taking, masterpiece. I found her on Booksprout and received the ARC for this book so I thought it was a perfect way to see what I thought about her writing and I am in love with her style!Miles Cromwell, thirty-five, isn’t known for being warm and fuzzy. He has had a few women in his time, but he doesn’t see himself settling down. A recluse at heart, he prefers to spend his days alone, painting landscapes. It helps to calm and distract him from the ugly thoughts that often creep into his mind. As CEO of Cromwell-Narada Media, he cannot spend all of his time lying low at his Pinnacle Point home, much to his chagrin. His Seattle-based company is just a forty-minute flight away, and he lives there much of the year. Cromwell-Narada is a media giant and dominates the Pacific Northwest. Miles took over for his father years ago, and he works diligently to continue to grow the company and keep atop market trends. Unfortunately, his marketing department struggles to get out of the corporate mindset and isn’t keeping pace with new ideas in marketing, so getting traction in social media is an area that needs work. One Bossy Offer is the grumpy-sunshine, enemies-to-lovers romance story between Jennifer Landers and Miles Cromwell. This book is the fourth book in the Bossy Seattle Suits series and can be read as a standalone. I always recommend readers to read this whole series from the beginning before reading the latest book, but I know that sometimes you get too excited to read the book that you don’t want to and that is exactly what I did. But if you wanted to read the series from the beginning you should start with book one, One Bossy Proposal. If you don’t have time to read all 3 books, you should at least read One Bossy Date. There are some character crossover cameos and scenes in this book, which I love. ❤️ I think that if you read at least One Bossy Date (book 3), you will see where Jennifer gets introduced and read about her bestie’s story, which will be reference in this book. This is book four in the Bossy Seattle Suits series about bossy billionaires and the quirky women they fall for. This series follows the Chicago-based Bad Chicago Bosses series. Though this Seattle series is somewhat similar, it does have a slightly different feel.

To Jenn, Miles comes off as a pushy bossy HOT rich guy and that ignites her snarly side. These two are like two bulldogs constantly going after each other. Jenn goes toe to toe with Miles. She is the force of nature Miles needs in his life. He doesn’t communicate with people he just demands and never explains. In addition, he has been burned by a really bad relationship and suffers from guilt and the fear of being taken again. Miles doesn’t trust himself with the feelings he has for Jenn. The FMC (can't even remember her name other than last name Poe) needs a change of pace and so she has an interview for a marketing position in an up and coming, though locally well-known company. Prior to going to her interview, she runs to a coffee shop to get a coffee and cinnamon roll and inadvertently gets the last one. Enter super hot guy with an ax to grind because there is no more of the pastries. Lo and behold, who shows up to her interview? Super hot guy, Lincoln. She ends up with the job and then a fake proposal comes into play to help launch a wedding line. Insert tropes of fiesty female lead with baggage and a male lead with a tortured soul who believes he's not good enough for girl. It was fun from the beginning to the end. Miles and Jennifer's banters are hilarious and funny and those two dobermans too cute. Their chemistry is off the chart and steamy. He's supposed to be a coffee kingpin? 🤷🏾‍♀️. Has no family, no friends and is all supposed to be because of what happened. I don't know how Ms. Snow manages to do it time and again: with each new book, I think, "Wow! This just can't be surpassed!", and each time Ms. Snow proves me wrong. This author is just incredible, as is her talent for portraying the most horrible, grumpy, grouchy billionaire boss in such a way that you inevitably fall in love with this guy. Even if you hated him so much before. Even if he broke the heroine's heart for the umpteenth time, in an attempt to protect her from herself and keep her from harm. Even if he acts like the ultimate jerk, unable to communicate his deep feelings for the love of his life, and one misunderstanding follows the next ...I didn’t like she played with another’s heart because she was afraid of her own feelings, she should act on them or not but she does not add someone else into the fray. Lincoln and Dakota are spending more and more time together. Now they are working together on a wedding proposal for the company. They both realize they can sell the idea of marriage better than some strangers - models who they may be higher. However, both have had heartache in the past and both are afraid to open their hearts towards each other. Cole is a wealthy, widower, and CEO of a coffee company. He has raised his 15 year old daughter, for the last ten years. He is stressed, and grumpy, and totally dedicated to his daughter, and his job. In this book, we have a neighbor's spat. It's a CEO versus a girl who just inherited her grandmother's Bed and Breakfast in a small town. Said CEO makes a generous offer on the property, but girl doesn't want to sell. They butt heads. She ends up working for him because she needs the money for repairs. Some crazy stuff goes down. We find out there's more to our grumpy CEO than meets the eye. Okay, so it's actually a very standard trope for this type of book, but it was so good. And the end? Oh my gosh! I loved the end. I thought it was going to turn out that way when it started, but when my suspicions were confirmed was was bouncing up and down. It was really cute. Oh sure, he is flawed, so determined to protect everyone, he pushes them away and by doing so he hurts them.
