Sunny's hairstyle is likely a reference to the "Odango" hairstyle popularized by the title character of the anime Sailor Moon. While not much is known about their friendship, they did work on the Radiant Week project together so it is assumed they are friends as they both love animation. At Rainbow High, students follow G.L.A.M (Grit, Love, Action and Moxie), and flaunting their true colors and making bold new innovations.
