Bryan Adams's Music Video (HD, 5 Mins.) - The iconic music video for Everything I Do is here and it's glorious! We don’t always age with the movies we loved as kids, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is, to some degree, one of those cases for me. That said, in many ways, this film as as much fun to watch as it ever was. Co-Writer Pen Densham says that his original idea for the film was “Robin Hood a la Raiders”, and while it’s not THAT good, you can very much see that basic idea running though the film, as Kevin Costner’s Robin goes through an escalating series of action and adventure set pieces that punctuate the film. Beginning with the darkness, both visual and thematic, of Robin’s escape from a prison during the crusades, where his life is saved by a former enemy, Azeem (Morgan Freeman) is a bold choice that marks this out from the bright technicolor of the Robins of Errol Flynn and Disney and starts the film off on an exciting note. Robin takes an arrow from his quiver and fires an arrow toward a tree. It splits an arrow in two which was already embedded in the tree.

Helmed by director Kevin Reynolds (Waterworld, The Count of Monte Cristo), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves pays homage to the past while transforming the famous outlaw of Sherwood Forest into a movie icon fit for the 1990s.

As with the 1080 version, a lot of the rougher looking material tends to be in less fulsomely lit conditions, but in that regard, the 4K Here We Are Kings: Making Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves – a multi-part documentary featuring interviews with Densham, Watson, director of photography Douglas Milsome, editor Peter Boyle, costume designer John Bloomfield and many more members of the creative team Over the decades, many films have been made about the legendary Robin Hood, who stole from the rich to give to the poor.
