On the whole though, my girls were excited to get this for Christmas and love playing with this set! The Aurora doll hair matted within one day and for some reason they don’t provide hair brushes for dolls; I would think they could throw in a brush for each doll in this box. I would’ve sent these back and gotten my money back if I had known they weren’t going to hold up very well! I was very excited to find an affordable set of 12 Disney Princess dolls to give to my daughter for Christmas. We were also happy with the packaging as it came in a cute case that had pictures of the princesses on it which made it great for a gift.

We bought this as a birthday gift for our 4 year old and she was ecstatic that she now has all the Disney princesses to play with (the main ones anyway). The dresses are not identical to the ones in the movies but you can clearly see that from the pictures shown of the product. I was expecting them to be more of a collector item, but because of the packaging, they are clearly meant to be played with, as they can't be displayed while still in the box.

SECRET STYLES COLLECTION: Look for more dolls and playsets in the Disney Princess Secret Styles collection for more ways to collect and play. The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are 1) the arms and legs are straight and not bendable, which makes playing with them a bit awkward. The quality is surprisingly good and they closely resemble the actual character despite not being true Disney.That said, my only complain is that the complexions of Jasmine and Pocahontas are quite whitewashed.
