There is a large car park (Mereside carpark) off the A58 providing access to the park, café and Hall. Jack Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is one of the most well-known producers of whiskey in the world. However, it undergoes sugar maple charcoal filtering before and after maturation in a charred oak barrel, unlike the standard Jack Daniel’s.

Since Jack Daniel’s Distillery produces Gentleman Jack, it uses the same distillation and filtration process. In addition, they undergo Lincoln County Filtration Process and are aged in new charred oak barrels before bottling and drinking.In addition to undergoing the charcoal mellowing process before aging, Gentleman Jack whiskey undergoes the process again before being bottled. After distillation, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey undergoes what is referred to as the ‘Lincoln County Process.

The process is considered a subtractive process, removing harsh impurities with the intent of making the whiskey more “smooth. There are a range of features and attractions, including a cafe and visitor facilities, miniature railway, boating lake, walking trails, play area, orienteering course and woodland in which to roam. Gentleman Jack whiskey and Jack Daniel’s whiskey use the same mash bill as their main ingredient for the spirit.
