Description

The Magnetic Wire Puller from Klein Tools quickly and easily fishes wire and cable behind finished walls or enclosed spaces.

Magnepull works great on the dry wall and makes pulling cable trough the wall much easier and faster. However, one is flat and disc-shaped, with a broad profile designed to slip between insulation and drywall. Since the rectangular magnet will fit through a ½-inch hole, it will go where many other magnets won’t go. Having got the bullet into the ideal position on one wall, I used the magnets to secure it in position temporarily. Completely useless in any wall or ceiling where there is ductwork, bullet sticks to ductwork and you run the risk of an expensive bullet stuck forever. Even when I pre-check the wall for metals and studs, something always goes wrong, there is always either an old metal anchor, a nail, or a piece of plywood, or conduit running across.

Outlets and voltage differ internationally and this product may require an adapter or converter for use in your destination. Because of the step I needed to run the device along one wall, secured temporarily in position and then run it up the opposite side of the wall. The downside to having this strong of a magnet is it grabs onto EVERYTHING, pliers, screw drivers you name it.

Sharon Wright, the inventor of the magnetic cable guide MagnaMole, was offered financial support from Dragons Duncan Bannatyne and James Caan following a winning presentation in the den. There was a single main router location from which a base station distributed to multiple satellite base stations connected wirelessly.
