Re-reading all the above, it is clear to me that some TVs have enough USB power, and many don’t – simple as that.So if the author was right then there is *no way* to safely EVER unplug or otherwise remove power from a AFTV stick! All the information is based on the technical FACTS instead of uneducated, best guesses based on any personal preferences or limited experience. This means that what you’re trying to do with the Fire TV Stick and its own maintenance/background activity will be competing for the device’s limited resources.

If you don’t have enough length for the power cord to reach the wall plug, use an extension cord – unless the distance is ridiculously far. Much to my surprise just because I had a smart TV did not mean it was smart enough to handle such subscription.Its ease of use, voice control, vast entertainment options, and portability make it a must-have for any TV lover. When you go to turn off your TV, you can unknowingly be doing so right in the middle of a Fire TV Stick software update.
