About this deal

It is a very cute toy as it responds to your actions with cute sounds as you play, plus it will even sing and dance to its own beat. We rushed to put Owleez in the nest, I lay on the wet grass waiting to capture him in flight with my camera…. Childhood is gone in the blink of an eye [except the sleepless nights part, that lasts for decades I think] and I wanted to enjoy every moment I could and make it as fun as possible. Owleez - ALDI UK

This toy is available in two colors (pink and white) and each set includes an owl pet, one nest for nap time, charger, and one bunch of berries for feeding. We were lucky enough to be sent an Owleez toy flying bird to put through its paces and here’s our full Owleez review. I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw pictures of it but after reviewing the Luvabella and Luvabeua Interactive Doll and Hatchimal Hatchibabies, I knew we we would be impressed.I was a bit worried that Owleez may break as he does tend to have quite a few crash landings, however we have been practicing lots with Owleez, and despite being bumped, bashed and knocked a fair few times, he remains completely in tact and unharmed. Practice is meant to make perfect, but we are yet to have got the full 10 seconds of flight and it is far less graceful than the advertisement we have seen on TV. Yellow eyes – If his is eyes are yellow then Owleez is hungry, and Erin found it hilarious when he made little munching sounds as the berries are pressed up against his nose. I really didn’t expect such a small, light little toy to have so much power and start flying like a helicopter. By far the best part of the Owleez product is when it flies and as it practices it gets better, flying for 10 seconds as a maximum.

You do need quite a lot of free space for the Owleez flying baby owl to fly, and in some modern family homes that might be easier said than done. Owleez’ eyes will tell you what he needs – there’s a little sheet in his box which tells you what each colour means. Most cases we’ve heard about of Owleez not flying is due to the level of battery (which can drain fairly quickly).
