I just don't understand the fact that she is mad with him for not overcoming his fears in ten minutes, when she did not change her way of seeing her life and living it in that amount of time.

This is really a beautiful book about exploring a relationship a little deeper into finding that your perfect person has been right next to you this whole time.I honestly am so happy Skyler wrote this story because so many of us women have been negatively affected by purity culture and it’s lovely seeing Livvy embark on her own path to healing and discovery. They insinuate that not having done all these different things like getting drunk, having your first kiss etc is bad.

It turns out that Cole, aka the manwhore, is traumatized with some family stuff and is afraid of commitment. I'm not sure why it chose to do me this way or what I may have done to warrant this sort of treatment but nonetheless, here I am. Just because someone is a virgin and doesn't have any sexual experience doesn't mean they're fragile glass. Overall, “Purity” is a great read for anyone looking for a steamy romance with a meaningful message.From puritanical virgin to primal sex kitten, Livvy’s story has allowed me expand the repertoire of smut I’ve consumed into a realm I could have lived without knowing existed. Until we share a kiss that makes the world stand still, and I begin to wonder…maybe I’ve misread him all along. I understand that her character was supposed to find herself, and grow- but I just didn't care enough about her? But when a person is clearly going through hell, and has laid their heart wide open for you, and you know good and well what you want from them, it is not okay for you to make them jump through hoops.
