Description

This guy is being listed at 22-inches tall so it does appear there has been a lot of reworking of the original 2005 Cybertron Metroplex 13. They can pack in blast effects, combiner accessories like hands and feet, and do the tooling necessary to make them great. There's no actual "rooms" or such that makes him as even a base, let alone a "city" (even if meant as a block's worth/section).

Transformers Legacy Titan Cybertron Metroplex Leaked Image? Transformers Legacy Titan Cybertron Metroplex Leaked Image?

I let myself fall into Hasbro's trap of getting all the "counterparts" and I've been picking up the Titans ever since: Scorponok was a long time coming, finally having Fortress Maximus's Decepticon Counterpart. The image could be fake, but it seems authentic based on the retailer-focused corporate level content. My hope is more for a future Ark playset that opens up to non-ceilinged spaces to set up scenes with normal sized Transformers. It’s the modern version of that red piece of transparent plastic you used to get to reveal a toy’s strengths.Heck the younger kid stuff like Imaginext have done a lot of such bases that are giant robots and such, and while simplified, that's closer to what could be a great design starting point for a titan… I'd rather have a simple transformation that allows for more play capacity as such. Now we just need Supreme class toys (Commander class is too small) of Quickmix and Menasor to make all three Gigantion characters in-show-scale with the original toyline. Just up on IGN is the official debut of the Transformers Legacy Titan Cybertron Metroplex Titan Class figure.

The other interesting part of this image, IF it is real, gives us a look at the Transformers Legacy logo as well. It will be very interesting to see how Hasbro updates the combiner feature, if they do in fact combine (and why wouldn't they? Chances are we are not going to hear about this from Hasbro until early next year when new products are announced at Toy Fair. The Generations Legacy Series brings together multiple Transformers universes "all in one toy line," to celebrate over 40 years of transforming robot action.Anyway, one thing I think is cool is that the worker mode is quite different from the standard robot, especially compared to the OG toy. I heard about this rumor months ago and was hoping it to be false, mostly because I have the Generations Metroplex from the thrilling 30 line and it's perfect. This adds a new era of Transformers lore to the Legacy line which already had G1, G2, Beast Wars, and Prime characters.

Transformers: Legacy action figures are great kids’ toys and exciting collectibles for fans of all ages. Even an Imaginext variation would only accommodate core class as the figures are only about 3 inches tall. It's the modern version of that red piece of transparent plastic you used to get to reveal a toy's strengths. On the one hand, I am excited because I did not get motormaster and only have two of the CW stunticons. In robot mode, it includes "a flip-down welding mask," because safety is absolutely paramount for even gigantic transforming sentient robots.
