Description

Next I tested the client by using a desktop provided by a Leostream connection broker. The Leostream connection broker and virtual desktop were based in an AWS datacenter. I used a single 4K monitor (Lenovo P27) connected to the DisplayPort of the client for this testing.

One difference between them lies in the integrated graphics: The Celeron supports Intel UHD Graphics 600 For the remainder of the time that I worked with the Wyse 5070, I configured it to connect to the Lenovo P27 4K monitor and the Dell 24” U2412M monitor. I used a local Horizon virtual desktop to do my daily tasks. The Horizon virtual desktop ran Windows 10 (1607), and had 2 vCPUs, 8 GB of memory, and 50 GB of NVMe SSDstorage. And similar CPU usage to the other tests, 50% usage on a single core: 50% usage on a single core WireGuard The 5070 was announced in May 2018. My example has no manufacturing date on it but the Wyse support Oh sweet, glad you like it. Did you have any issues getting things up and running? I had a couple (which were fairly easy to overcome):

LAN can see DMZ and Internet, certain DMZ hosts (my phone, laptop) can see some stuff on the LAN, and IoT can see nothing but the Internet.

The final test that I preformed was connecting four different monitors with different resolutions to the client. I connected the Lenovo P27 (4K) and Dell U2412M (1920 x 1200) monitors through DisplayPort, as well as a Samsung NC241 (1920 x 1080) and IBM L150 (1024 x 768) monitors through mini DisplayPort, with a series of gender changes and adapters. All other products will be delivered via the fastest available method (excluding bank holidays and weekends) and generally within 3-5 days, depending on customer location. After using the Wyse 5070 client for three weeks with both on-premise and cloud-based virtual desktops, and using a wide variety of configurations, I found the device to be an extremely powerful and well-built VDI client which is easy to configure and could handle any load that I put on it; it has connectivity for the most demanding of environments via its 21 ports and support for six monitors. Wyse has a reputation of building devices that are built to last, and I see that this device is no exception to that. on Dell internal analysis using publicly available specs in August 2023 comparing maximum effective capacity for PowerStore 1200 and FlashArray //X20. Assumes average 4:1 data reduction for PowerStore, 5:1 for Pure Storage. Actual results vary. A variety of USB ports. Don’t ask me about revisions as that USB naming scheme is a mess that I can’t be bothered to look up. I do know there is a USB-C port at 5Gbps. The other USB ports are blue, meaning better than USB2.0. and the 'extended' (wide) item - Regulatory model N12D. There are also two CPU options. The size/type

PCIe NIC shorted out on the case, needed to bend a bit of the card cage out of the way to stop it shorting on the solder pins of the NIC. Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 15) Highly flexible: The Wyse Management Suite is an efficient hybrid cloud management solution with floating license allocation between on premise and cloud. On the ThinOS desktop in the lower left corner, there is a settings icon that navigates to a menu that is used to configure the device, with options including: screen configuration and display topology, networking, displaying information on the operating system of the Wyse 5070 (Figure 11), and the ability to perform other activities for the device. I used the settings menu to configure the topology of my monitors and set the DHCP server for the device, and I found the menu easy to navigate and intuitive. Terms Apply. Max 5 units per customer.Dell is positioning the Wyse 5070as a highly-configurable virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) client platform. The Wsye 5070’s configuration ensures its functionality is suitable for a wide range of situations, from being a basic VDI client for task workers to being one that supports the most demanding of workloads. More specifically, the Wsye 5070 has 21 ports for connectivity, supports five different OSes, two different CPU families, many different memory and storage configurations, and all common remote display protocols. Additionally, it can be configured to support up to four 4K monitors and two 2K monitors, thereby satisfying the most demanding of users. I ran a number of different tests to try and show how this thing might perform in real world usage. Speedtest
