Seasonally, this is a cold-weather fragrance, and it works best in lower-digit temperatures. In my opinion, you can wear a fragrance you like anytime you want, but I couldn’t see myself wearing this one when it’s hot and humid outside.

This is one of the most famous fall/winter fragrances, most suitable for night time wear. It probably goes without saying, but this is NOT an office friendly fragrance. The Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme Eau de Parfum combines spiciness and sweetness. This makes it ideal for going out. Now that is here I can review it properly: this is warm and quite heavily sweet and leathery with a good touch of tobacco and spices /cinnamon. Although it’s not listed I get abit of f a toffee in this drydown also……

Today, I’m going to take an in-depth look at what makes this perfume so popular and is this the best choice for you. I have tried this twice. The older batch smelled like freshly-spinning cotton candy and it was so sweet it made me nauseous. I wrote off any Spicebomb for a few years because I tried this first and it was "the peak" of the line. NightVision EDT was also a disappointing candy apple and tree mixture. Infrared EDP? Just throw some cinnamon on NightVision.

One interesting fact is that I also experienced it as a “holiday” fragrance. On average, Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor & Rolf lasts for 9 hours, depending on how your skin reacts to this scent, while you will get around 2 hours of projection and strong silage. Nonetheless, as a safe choice, Spicebomb punches way above its class, and it is worth having in the collection.
